“Rising prices and limited support”
Pros
Running a tiny used baby stroller business means most of our orders come through Facebook Messenger so we set this up to handle the first part of the chat automatically, things like model, color, budget and timing. That part has actually worked well for us and at the original $15 per month, it felt completely worth it.
Cons
My problem is with the pricing setup. I'm leaving this review so others know that the plan can automatically move up month after month as your number of "subscribers" grows. What wasn't clear to me is that every conversation gets stored as "reachable" in the system and all of those count toward the monthly cost. After checking my bills from the past 3 years as a customer, I saw the price had gone up 5 different times because of higher "usage." The frustrating part is that our real active usage has stayed basically the same every month. It's the backlog of completed conversations, already marked "done" on Facebook, that keeps pushing the bill higher. My subscription climbed from $15 to $66 and it honestly feels like that happened without my approval. I reached out to support and the agent I spoke with, Larisa, told me there was nothing she could do. Reading between the lines, the message was basically that it was my fault for not turning off the autoscaling setting myself. I work as an Account Manager at another SaaS company and if one of my clients came to me with something like this, I'd at least try to reduce the frustration. Here though, it felt like they simply didn't care.

“Powerful chatbot builder”
Pros
Using it feels very easy. Even people without a technical background can build chatbots quickly and in an simple way. On top of that, it connects with several other platforms which helps make your chatbot more effective and capable.
Cons
Chafuel's free version can be limiting when it comes to some advanced settings. Because of that, you often need to set aside a fairly high budget to get the full benefit of the software.

“Fast rollout with responsive support”
Pros
The rollout moved quickly, the customer support was very responsive and the product gave us plenty of room to customize it to fit our needs.
Cons
I didn't really run into any major downsides. If I had to mention one, the implementation did require a great time commitment from our team as well.

“steep learning curve”
Pros
You can set up automated replies for customer support, build process flows that guide customers toward a purchase and send broadcasts through Facebook, Instagram and other apps.
Cons
It's quite complex to use, the visual interface is a bit complicated and getting the most out of all the features can be difficult.

“Costly outdated chatbot”
Pros
At first, it seemed useful because it helped automate chats with potential customers coming in through our social media but over time it started to feel outdated.
Cons
The price is quite high and the support team is neither very helpful nor fast. On top of that, there are other apps that are much simpler to use and cost far less.

“Affordable chat”
Pros
After seeing really strong results during the free trial, we decided to move forward with the paid plan. The pricing is quite affordable and the chat feature gives clear, decisive responses. It helps us assist our customers quickly and in an effective way.
Cons
Every now and then, a few customers are not fully happy with the replies but that tends to happen with any chatbot.
