“Polished look”
Pros
It is still fairly new but it already feels polished, looks appealing and is very simple to get up and running. You can create what seems to be an unlimited number of separate channels and each one can have its own look and its own URL. Even with multiple channels in one organization, everything is pulled into one unified inbox which makes it much easier to keep track of conversations. The inbox itself is very manageable and filtering by channel is available when needed. There's also a built-in customer CRM where you can store customer details, chat topics, tags, notes and attachments, all alongside the active conversation history. Sending messages with canned responses is quick and convenient. Conversations can be assigned either automatically or manually and transferring chats to other agents through the inbox is simple as well. Adding more chat agents is also uncomplicated. On top of that, the iOS app works well and is really convenient to have.
Cons
It would be nice to see a knowledge base and more automated response options added. Another limitation is that individual chat agents can't be assigned to specific channels within the same organization so instead they have access to all of them.

“Versatile multi-channel communication”
Pros
Having several communication channels available for the same website is a big plus. Whether it's embedded directly on the site or used through a widget, Chative gives different ways to stay connected with customers.
Cons
Since the product is still fairly new, the team needs a bit more time to build it into a more complete live chat platform. That said, their future updates look promising.
