“Great communication tool for developers and businesses
Pros
Twilio offers a great set of APIs for messaging, voice, video, and email. The platform is highly reliable with minimal downtime, which is why it's so well-regarded.
Cons
One downside I found is that it offers limited support for free-tier users.

“A great option for sending SMS
Pros
The cost was very affordable compared to other options I looked into, and it handled bulk API requests really well.
Cons
Our account got disabled multiple times due to suspicious logins even though it was just me using a VPN. We ended up with a lot of downtime because support wouldn't believe it was actually me.

“Very helpful for our business
Pros
I really like that Twilio integrates smoothly with my CRM, making everything more efficient.
Cons
I don't like that it plays music when making calls from my CRM instead of hearing the phone ring. It's a bit off putting.

“Powerful system analyzer
Pros
I found the platform simple, intuitive, and fast when analyzing system data for specific job applications. It was clear and concise.
Cons
The first time I used the platform, I encountered an error that didn't explain what went wrong. Instead, it just provided an error code, which meant I had to consult our IT team to figure out what needed fixing. Thankfully, that was improved later but I worry there may be more issues like this in the future.

“Easy and affordable
Pros
What I liked most about Twilio was how easily it integrated with our systems. The setup was so easy and the documentation made it even easier. The value for money is excellent, especially with the robust features for automating SMS and emails in India. It truly streamlined our communication processes.
Cons
While this tool is mostly user-friendly, some advanced features have a steep learning curve. It took me a while to fully grasp everything, and I also think customer support could be faster in responding to inquiries.

“Very easy to use software
Pros
Once we set up this software, it's super easy to use for sending texts. It became a "set it and forget it" tool for us and just handled the texting through the API.
Cons
Setting it up was really complicated. There seemed to be multiple areas where I had to set up similar things, but they were different features. It took us weeks to get everything set up properly before we could start sending texts.

“Feels necessary, but the pricing is quite high
Pros
It really integrates seamlessly with our system and their support team is very responsive.
Cons
It can be pretty expensive, and our customers have complained about the costs. Plus I've found some of the information online to be misleading.

“Sometimes it's a bit confusing
Pros
This was one of the few options available for our needs in Hungary, and it worked really well.
Cons
We received programmable wireless SIMs and Super SIMs for IoT devices from our IoT partner, but these were migrated to Kore (another company that acquired Twilio's IoT products). While most functions can still be handled through Twilio, not all of them are and this wasn't clear until we ran into issues. We were redirected to Kore for support, but we were still stuck using different platforms to handle these products. The experience was complicated and technical, and the AI support was difficult to navigate if we needed to reach a human.

“We can rely on twilio!
Pros
Twilio is simple to use and navigate. It's easy to find call and message records without any hassle.
Cons
I really wish there was a way to preview the content of messages without clicking into them. It's also frustrating that you can't open messages in a new tab, making it tedious to troubleshoot and review them.

“Wasn't very effective in Canada
Pros
It's cheaper, but you risk losing many leads due to spam rejection so it's not the best option for lead calling.
Cons
It isn't ideal for Canada because around 70% of outbound calls are marked as spam, which causes us to lose leads.
