Akido does a great job of identifying issues across our codebase and keeps us informed about security risks in our dependencies. It also notifies us whenever a pull request is submittedmaking it easier to stay aware of potential problems. Even on the free tier, I check the active monitoring regularly while scans are running so I can respond as soon as anything important is detected. The GitHub integration works really well and keeps everything up to date without any extra effort. Getting started didn't take long and the free trial gave us a good understanding of what the paid tiers include. One feature I especially appreciate is the AI-powered false positive analysis. It filters out issues that aren't actually a concern, saving us a lot of time compared to other scanning tools that flag almost everything and require much more manual review.

Cons

For me it's mainly just the price. Clearly it's designed as a premium product, I just don't have a premium budget.

I find Aikido Security really useful for dealing with vulnerabilities. It provides an easy way to identify and fix them which helps us be prepared for penetration tests. I also appreciate that the initial setup was very easy.

Cons

The jump in pricing from the free tier to nearly £300 per month feels too steep. I'd like to see more pricing options or intermediate plans that make it easier to adopt additional features over time.

This has extremely reliable compliance checks with continuous automated scanning.

The free tier is too restrictive, as adding more than two repositories isn't practical and newly added repositories often aren't scanned.

It’s easy to use and saves time with Autofix. The AI does make a few errors but they’re easy to ignore. It’s simple to integrate with GitHub and VS Code and the scans are quick and satisfactory. Compared to other companies, the price feels fair. I haven’t needed support up to this point.

So far, I have nothing to complain about and I’ve had a wonderful experience.

What stands out most is the clarity of the interface and the thoughtful way the different features are organized. Everything is presented in a clean, uncomplicated way making it easy to find and use the tools you need.

Despite error messages, one sometimes has to defend findings against the analyses of co-developers who use other tools. Perhaps one can offer a MoE panel??

Very broad coverage of many different aspects of secure software development that covers most needs of a scale-up - where we would have previously needed to buy tools from 4–5 vendors, we can now just use Aikido at a way lower price for the package. The individual tools and solutions don't go into as much depth as a dedicated solution would but at our stage, that would be overkill in most cases anyway. It integrates with most of the tools we use, only major thing missing is Google chat for notifications but the important platform integrations are covered. The UI is solid and guides you through onboarding and setup of most features

Cons

Due to the breadth of features, it can be easy to lose track of what you already have set up and what you don't and whether you need to upgrade to the next tier or not.

It proactively scans every part of our platform and emails us whenever any action is needed. The UI is easy to understand and modern. It covers everything from source code to infrastructure. Recommendations for fixes address the precise position in code and come with suggested fixes. If integrates well with other platforms like AWS, Laravel Forge etc.

Cons

Nothing. Everything is just working. I have not faced one problem with it so far.
