What stands out to me most about Akitra G2 is how it simplifies the compliance process with its powerful AI-driven automation. It has completely transformed the way we manage security and compliance, cutting down tasks that once took hours or even days, making them much quicker and more efficient. The platform is user friendly and its seamless integration into our systems, along with excellent support, has saved us both time and resources. It's reassuring to know we can rely on Akitra G2 to secure our data and ensure we meet all necessary compliance standards.

Honestly I can't think of anything I dislike about it. From its user-friendly interface to its seamless integration with our existing systems, the platform has surpassed my expectations. The AI-powered automation has completely transformed our compliance process, making it faster and more efficient. The support team is also exceptional!!! always responsive and helpful. Overall, Akitra G2 has been an invaluable tool and Im thoroughly impressed with everything about it.

Like any platform, it had a learning curve. It took a bit of time to get the hang of its advanced features, but the support team made all the difference. They were incredibly responsive and provided training along with detailed documentation to ease the process. Their proactive approach helped us get up to speed quickly and use the platform to its fullest potential.

Nothing major is broken. The only thing I'd mention is that the login process could be a bit smoother.

Some of the integrations require resource relationship rules, which are paid by cloud providers. It would be great if the platform offered more flexibility in integrating custom resource relationship capture data.

The integration with our resources and automatic data collection helped us achieve PCI compliance and the documentation process was top-notch.

It would have been helpful if Akitra had provided us with the minimum vnet/vm and cloud requirements needed for Azure Certification earlier. They have worked with many clients already so having guidance in setting up the cloud environment would have been beneficial.

“Achieving SOC1 compliance is simple with Akitra

Pros

My workload went from an estimated 3-4 months down to just a month! The team was incredibly responsive and helpful. Whenever I hit a roadblock, my account manager would quickly resolve the issue. If he wasn't available, the account manager from a previous year was there to help and even the CEO jumped in to assist when needed! When I first started with Akitra, there were no integrations for tools like Asana and Jumpcloud. However after informing them about our needs, they created the integrations within a few days. The platform is very easy to use. Andromeda was simple to learn and navigate. If I made a mistake or forgot a file, or needed to update a policy, I was able to make quick edits without having to redo everything from scratch. Akitra made gathering evidence so effortless and it was intuitive to select evidence that could be reused in other spots

Cons

I encountered a small issue with my browser, which required clearing the cache to sign into Akitra's evidence capture system. After resolving that, the issue no longer persisted. I also had a minor issue with uploading multiple files as evidence but after discussing it with a designer from the UI team, they are working on a fix. Im looking forward to using it again soon.

What we love most about Akitra Andromeda Compliance is the complete user experience it offers. The platform consolidates all our compliance-related documents, policies and controls in one easily accessible location, simplifying logistics and ensuring transparency. The team has been extremely supportive throughout the process, making Akitra the ideal solution for compliance.

I honestly can't find anything to dislike about this. Their team was very supportive and the whole compliance process went smoothly.

The platform offers customizable templates for almost all the policies required and the Andromeda tool has made monitoring and reporting a breeze.

We lost some momentum midway through the process but we could have avoided that with better planning.

No complaints at all. The team has been incredibly supportive and customer-focused and we managed to get our SOC-2 certification within just a couple of weeks.

Their in-house software helped us identify which of our employees' laptops were not compliant with future certification requirements. This allowed us to make the necessary investments to ensure data security. The team was incredibly helpful, answering all our questions and guiding us throughout the entire process.

Cons

We installed an outdated version of Andromeda initially, which caused our entire team to reinstall the software. However once we got it up and running, everything worked perfectly.

There's nothing particularly wrong with Akitra but the Andromeda UI and UX could use improvement. It's not as easy as it could be.

This software offers detailed documentation on the steps and policies needed for SOC-2 compliance. They are always available to assist on short notice. What I loved most was that they provide templates for almost all the 50+ policies required, making the process quick and efficient.

Cons

The notification system is quite intuitive especially in terms of actionable steps towards compliance for each integration. Integrating it with a ticketing system for the various tasks would really help streamline the process.
