“Valuable real-time attack monitoring

I really appreciate how this brings together different attack viewpoints into one comprehensive picture and the real-time attack monitoring is valuable for staying on top of threats as they happen.

Cons

Nothing really stands out as problematic. We got exactly what we needed with the real-time threat protection so no complaints here.

“Ideal choice for smaller businesses!!

Pros

Love having an affordable WAF solution that actually works with smaller businesses. Most other providers only want to deal with enterprise clients. Support team has been great to work with, they respond quickly and get issues resolved in reasonable time. Once you get the hang of how everything works, setting it up for new customers becomes pretty easy.

Cons

Installing third-party certificates is a real pain. The documentation is pretty sparse and figuring out which parts of the certificate you actually need feels like guesswork.

“Excellent bundled penetration testing

Pros

Having around-the-clock SOC support is incredible, plus I get zero false positive guarantees which saves me tons of time. The bundled penetration testing is a nice touch and knowing I'm protected from the latest vulnerabilities, zero-day exploits and DDoS attacks makes this whole package worth every penny.

Cons

Can't really find much to complain about since it does exactly what it's supposed to do.

“Gets us ready for audit compliance!

AppTrana has been really helpful with patching open vulnerabilities automatically through their new SwyftComply feature. It gets us audit-ready much faster than before which saves us time during compliance periods.

Nothing specific comes to mind that bothers me about it.

Pros

Love how their managed security team stays on top of things 24/7, even during nights and weekends. They're constantly monitoring for attacks and blocking them before they become a problem. Having that full support and monitoring takes a huge burden off my shoulders.

I honestly cant think of any downsides since protecting our business from targeted threats is absolutely essential for what we do.

“Best solution out there!

Pros

I've been using this tool for over six months to secure our platform and it's been very effective at blocking attacks and keeping our data safe. The protection it provides has made our system much more powerful and Honestly I think it's the best solution available in the industry right now.

Cons

The only downside I see is the pricing. When you need multiple instances running, the costs can really add up and thats something to consider.

I like the comprehensive bot protection. It's been a lifesaver for stopping attacks from hackers. The API protection is another standout feature, using both positive and negative models to ensure every request processed is legitimate while blocking any random attempts right away.

if our sites stay protected from attacks and the business remains safe, then honestly there's nothing else we'd want from this tool.

Setting up this solution completely transformed how we handle heavy traffic and security threats. Our sites used to get hammered by attackers trying to slow everything down but that's no longer an issue.

The pricing is probably the main issue for us. As a startup, it's really tough to afford AppTrana. They definitely need better pricing options for smaller companies just getting started.

The protection against DDoS and botnet attacks is absolutley incredible. Thanks to the managed services, my team and I can relax knowing they handle everything like they're part of our extended team.

I can't really find anything to complain about since the support team has been responsive and consistent in helping us out.

Pros

We tested several WAF solutions and this one stood out for being surprisingly simple to work with while delivering consistent protection. Since it's managed, we don't have to worry about the heavy lifting during setup or ongoing maintenance and it pretty much handles itself.

Haven't really found anything specific to complain about on my end.
