Because it's such a full-featured security platform, there is a bit of a learning curve at the beginning especially for users who are newer to Kubernetes. A few of the more advanced capabilities also take extra configuration before you can get maximum value from them. On top of that, deeper integrations with third-party ticketing platforms or SIEM tools would make incident response even more efficient.

Pros

Getting ArmoSec connected to one of our staging Kubernetes clusters through the SaaS portal was a pretty quick process. Within about 20 to 30 minutes, the cluster was onboarded and we were already seeing real-time security insights. The RBAC misconfiguration detection was especially useful because it clearly highlighted over-permissioned service accounts. I also appreciated the attack path visualization since it made potential lateral movement risks much easier to understand. The interface feels well designed and the remediation guidance is actually practical they don't just point out problems, they walk you through how to address them step by step. For anyone working in DevSecOps, it's a very useful dashboard to have.

Cons

A feature I'd still like to see improved is the alerting system. More customization around alerts, along with Slack integration for tracking specific risk thresholds, would make it even more useful. The scan reports are detailed and informative but during testing the export options especially PDF and CSV, felt somewhat limited. It's not a dealbreaker but it would definitely improve usability.

One thing that really stands out with ARMO Platform is how much it streamlines security operations. It automates a lot of the repetitive work that would normally take up a big chunk of our team's time which lets us focus on more important priorities. The interface is very polished so security issues are presented clearly and we spend far less time troubleshooting. It also doesn't need constant monitoring and having it quietly keep everything under control has been a big help for maintaining an efficient workflow.

Cons

Honestly, the only complain I have is the minimal user guidance. While the platform becomes quite simple to work with once you get familiar with it, there are still times during setup or when making changes that the documentation feels too limited. More complete guides or better onboarding would make those situations much easier and cut down on the moments spent figuring out what to do next.

Having ARMO Platform in place has made our project management much more efficient. The dashboard gives a clear snapshot of project status so the team doesn't have to dig through long message threads or piles of emails to find updates. The reporting feature is a big help too, saving us around three hours each week by generating detailed reports instantly with just a few basic commands. Assigning tasks and keeping track of progress is also very logical and that has been really useful for us.

Cons

The main issue I've experienced with the ARMO Platform is its reliability when working with large files. Uploads can occasionally cause the platform to freeze or stop responding without warning, interrupting work in progress. I've also noticed that updates don't always appear straight away which can be confusing for the team. Sometimes a task looks complete to one person but because the platform hasn't refreshed yet, others are left unsure whether the work has actually been finished.

“A dependable software solution”

Pros

Getting started with ARMO which uses Kubescape, was pretty coordinated and it covers a wide range of compliance requirements. I especially appreciate features like attack paths and CVE visibility. Compared with other tools in this space, the pricing feels reasonable and it works well across cloud providers. If you run Kubernetes clusters in the cloud, ARMO is really useful for validating configurations, addressing security problems and spotting compliance violations. Once those issues are resolved, preparing for SOC2 or similar compliance efforts becomes much simpler. Another nice touch is that each issue comes with remediation guidance which helps identify what extra controls should be added to the YAML files.

Cons

Overall, I'm happy with the platform but there are still a couple of areas where it could improve. One would be the ability to apply a fixed configuration directly from the platform instead of having to download the YAML and apply it manually. Another challenge comes up when a Docker image includes transient dependencies with open CVEs. In those situations, upgrading to a newer version is not always the right answer and can sometimes create compatibility issues. It would be better if ARMO offered an option to use Chainguard or similar images without requiring a version change.

One of the biggest wins with ARMO Platform has been its automation. It cuts down a lot of manual work for our team and gives us back at least a full day of work every week. Another major advantage is how well it connects with the tools we already use. ARMO also does a really good job of pulling data from multiple sources and bringing everything into a single dashboard which alone saves our team around three hours of reporting time each week.

Cons

Getting comfortable with ARMO Platform takes some time because the interface is fairly complex and packed with features. I still end up hunting around for certain settings or configuration options more often than I'd like. We also ran into a few integration hiccups with our current tools which caused some minor disruptions.
