Astra Security features an interface that is easy to navigate. The variety of automatic security features including malware scanning firewall protection and login security is impressive. One of the standout features was the ability to conduct manual pen tests with actual security engineers. The customer support team is responsive and helpful whenever questions arise.
Cons
Pricing for Astra Security tends to be a bit higher compared to some other security solutions. Some advanced features like server-side scanning are only available on the more expensive plans.

Pros
Simplifying vulnerability testing was a key goal especially since it was previously handled by a specialized company that involved a lot of procedures and was quite costly. With Astra there is now the flexibility to perform as many tests as needed including retests after addressing vulnerabilities all at a much more affordable price.
Cons
The user interface could benefit from some improvements. It would be preferable to have the option to export compliance reports as PDFs similar to vulnerability reports. This would simplify submitting details of security assessments to clients.

Installation is easy and the firewall is always up to date for most CMS platforms. Malware scanning and removal come with a security certificate providing an additional layer of trust.
Cons
The malware scan and removal process requires manual selection which could be streamlined.

Web security is outside the area of expertise making a fuss free solution essential for protecting WordPress sites from malware bots. Astra provides a user-friendly web application firewall, and the scheduled malware scanning and upcoming automated cleanup are really good.
Cons
It is difficult to overlook that the user interface could use some improvement. Currently it seems a bit unprofessional with its candy colored design. Perhaps that is just a personal opinion.
