Having a full inventory of cybersecurity assets in one place makes this platform really valuable for managing what an organization has. It gives consistent visibility into assets and helps keep everything organized.

Cons

We do run into connection issues at times although they are still tolerable and not severe enough to be a major problem.

For us, the dashboards and alerts are really useful and the platform makes user offboarding much more manageable. It also does a great job of identifying missing security controls on endpoints which helps us catch gaps quickly.

Cons

One thing it still needs is better if-else-then query capabilities.

Keeping inventory under control is one of the top priorities in the CIS Top 20 and this software has been excellent for that. It pulls together CSV reports and also uses API calls from multiple data sources so I can combine information on endpoints, servers and users in one place. In our case, I'm able to bring data from Active Directory, our vulnerability scanner and antivirus into a single report. One report on last-seen devices with antivirus installed even helped us uncover a client misconfiguration issue.

Cons

Honestly, there's nothing here I dislike. My only regret is not discovering it four years earlier because it would have saved me a huge amount of time spent processing everything manually in Excel.

“quick installation with a wide range of integrations”

Pros

Trying to get this up and running was very easy. We had data flowing in less than an hour after installation and setup. The platform offers a huge number of adapters and we currently use 12 of them to pull details from Active Directory, Rapid 7, ESX vCenters, antivirus, SCCM and more. Building and saving queries for asset reconciliation is also pretty simple. Lately, we've started using the enforcement center to take action on assets which has been really useful. It lets us run scripts based on data gathered from other adapters and while that could be done inside the separate tools themselves, Axonius gives us visibility across all connected systems which opens the door for much more creative and useful tasks.

Cons

The interface looks modern and it's nice that you can create custom metrics for a query. The downside right now is that there's no way to organize the metric cards since they're only sorted by the order they were created.

It does a really good job of connecting and aggregating most of our products which gives us strong visibility across everything.

There's still room to improve how the graphs are presented and make the visibility even clearer.
