Cons

A frustrating part with Barracuda Cloud-to-Cloud Backup is that it only covers cloud-based storage and isn't designed to protect on-premises data.

Pros

Setup was quick and the automated backups run on their own without any babysitting. The restore feature is also well designed and gets the job done which makes the whole backup system feel trustworthy.

Cons

Getting this up and running was not a problem at all and the automated backups work reliably without needing any manual effort. The restore option is dependable and simple to use which makes the cloud protection even more dependable.

Connecting it to my Microsoft 365 environment was a piece of cake and the interface is simple to use without much of a learning curve.

Cons

One thing I'd still like is more detailed logging, along with better visibility into the progress of backups and restores while they're running.

Configuring everything took no time and restoring email folders, Teams and similar items was just as simple.

Another thing worth mentioning is that it really needs a high-resolution screen, otherwise it's difficult to use.

One thing that really stands out with Barracuda Cloud-to-Cloud Backup is how simple it is to use and access, whether from the mobile app or on a desktop. When our staff needs information restored, it helps us resolve things quickly which keeps customers happy. It's efficient, cost-effective for us to roll out and the setup took not time at all which I appreciated.

Having my data backed up to Barracuda's secure cloud gives me a strong sense of confidence and security.

Setup was a little rocky at first but afterward it's been smooth sailing.

Pros

We were up and running in minutes and since then it's been nearly maintenance-free. We were able to roll it out for all users and simply check each day that the backups completed successfully. Restoring content is also not a problem at all, whether it's a single file, an email or a full folder structure. The biggest advantage has been protecting data from local machines like laptops and desktops which felt much more vulnerable before we put Office 365 and Barracuda Cloud-to-Cloud Backup in place.

Cons

I really don't have any complaints about this product. It has performed reliably for us over many years.

Pros

The initial setup was painless and using it day to day has been just as simple. It automatically covers all four Microsoft 365 components which saves my team a lot of time and manual effort. The alerts and restore process are clear and uncomplicated as well. It has been very dependable and I don't have to spend time constantly handling, checking or maintaining the backup system.

Cons

No complaints at all.

Pros

Being able to back up directly from Microsoft cloud services into Barracuda has saved us a lot of admin time and given us a solution that simply works. It's been especially valuable when we need to recover emails and OneDrive files for former employees. Pulling PSTs and OneDrive data has been a big advantage and the process in Barracuda is much more simpler than using Microsoft Purview which took a lot more steps and time. Getting everything set up in the first place was also very simple just a matter of connecting Barracuda to our environment with a few entries and approvals. I've been very pleased with our Barracuda products overall.

Cons

The only issue that comes to mind was when we had trouble exporting a large PST from Barracuda to a computer in our environment. That said, Barracuda Support stepped in and resolved it.

Pros

Keeping an Office 365 environment protected is pretty hassle-free with this. If a user deletes files, it is easy to restore them. Even the setup is very simple and feels like a quick next-next-finish process.

Cons

It does let you restore Entra ID apps and similar items but there's still some manual work involved when it comes to regenerating certificates. That seems more like a Microsoft limitation than a Barracuda problem.
