Getting everything up and running was smooth and day-to-day management has been just as simple. It's also very user-friendly overall.

Nothing comes to mind really. Any issues we ran into during setup or with compatibility on our internal network have already been worked out.

I noticed that there were a few bugs along the way that caused some minor issues but the engineering team's support really stood out. They responded well and managed to fix everything in a fairly quick timeframe.

After dealing with multiple MFA tools at my previous company, the biggest benefit here is how much time it saves. I can sign in right away without having to grab my phone, enter a code or sit around waiting for a text to come through. Just one click and I'm into all my systems which is fantastic. It's also a relief not to worry about contacting the help desk for password resets anymore.

Cons

I don't have any downsides to mention yet since I'm still a new user. I also wasn't part of the setup process.

Pros

A big plus is that the whole passwordless approach is built around PKI and each device acts as its own root which makes it simple to manage. There's no extra certificate management burden and the fully self-service setup has helped cut down helpdesk costs significantly.

Cons

The only gap at this point is that it still isn't fully ready for complete end-to-end passwordless use cases especially things like SSH and sudo access on Linux servers.

Pros

As the internal admin for Beyond Identity, getting it deployed and enrolling everyone with the authenticator was very self explanatory. I had everything up and running within minutes. All it took was assigning a user to a group in our IAM solution and Beyond Identity automatically emailed them the instructions to enroll in the authenticator app. As soon as they completed enrollment, it immediately switched them over to passwordless authentication so they no longer needed a username, password and separate MFA method. On top of that, Beyond Identity includes a managed environment which lets me set risk-based policies around how and when users are allowed to authenticate through the authenticator app, From the user side, it makes day-to-day access much simpler. I don't have to reach for my mobile phone to verify logins to my applications anymore which means I can sign in much faster instead of going through a password plus mobile authentication every time.

Cons

It updates pretty much every day which can be a little annoying though it's understandable since the product is continuing to improve.

Pros

Logging in is about as simple as it gets. I just sign in with my username in the morning and I'm set for the day. I don't have to worry about capital letters or mistyping a password and the Okta integration has made my routine a lot faster.

Cons

The only frustrating part is how often updates come up. They usually take less than five minutes but it still gets annoying having to install them so regularly.

Being SaaS-based, this was one of the fastest solutions to deploy. It's extremely easy to use and the feedback loop along with the insights from the Beyond Identity team has been really valuable.

Cons

One feature I'd still like to see is OS-level automated checks on end-user devices, with the ability to block access automatically when a machine is found to be non-compliant.

Managing identities and passwords has been really convenient with this software. Everything is stored securely in one place and since I started using it, I haven't had to recover a password even once.

There are a few minor bugs here and there but they haven't been serious enough to get in the way of my work. At this point, I don't really have any complaints.

We added the paid passwordless authentication option to our Okta single sign-on setup and it's been a really valuable addition. The device visibility and trust features are also a big plus and give us better insight into endpoint security.

Cons

The management dashboard still feels like it's developing so it doesn't yet offer the full level of analytics and reporting we'd like. Another ongoing issue is that Palo Alto Endpoint frequently flags updates as malware. It would also be much better if the client supported automatic updates.
