“Conformio is the easiest tool to work with, thanks to its friendly interface

Pros

All the modules in Conformio are incredibly helpful, especially the Risk Register, Statement of Applicability, Incidents and Audit Modules. I do wish it supported ISO 9001 as well so we could have both systems on the same platform. The support from Conformio has been excellent and they even offer webinars that show how the platform works. Overall it's been a great experience. We switched from ISMS.online to Conformio and the difference is clear. ISMS.online was too complex and didn't meet our expectations, whereas it has a much friendlier interface and is much easier to work with. It has been a key part of our success during implementation and we use it daily for documentation, task management and workflow. It's also capable of integrating with other tools, which I haven't tried yet but I have read that it's possible. Plus the price is really reasonable.

Cons

Overall the system is very helpful. However, it would be great if ISO 9001 could also be integrated into the platform. Also the management review module could use more features, something similar to the audit module would be a nice touch.

Pros

The interface is clean and simple, requiring no installation or training. All you need is an internet connection and a web browser. Their support team is always there to help with any questions and they respond very quickly. The platform also comes with preloaded templates and automatic reminders to keep you on track, which makes things so much easier.

Cons

It's fairly restrictive and its main strength seems to be in document control. However it's affordable and can be customized to match your brand image, which is a plus.

Conformio's technical support team has been fantastic. They provide a clear, step by step roadmap to achieve implementation. The training videos, supporting documents and weekly webinars have been extremely helpful. The dashboard is simple and easy to navigate for task management. Over the past year, we used it weekly to move through the steps, complete our Internal Audit and are now gearing up for the external audit and certification!

Cons

One issue I have is the number of individual email notifications that come through whenever a change is made. It would be better if they could be grouped into one. Also on the starter plan, you can only have 3 users, which becomes a problem when completing the internal auditor section. The Internal Auditor should ideally be someone outside the project team for impartiality, which isn't feasible with the current setup. Lastly tailoring documents to ensure they reflect your business instead of generic recommendations would be helpful.

Pros

The project structure for ISO 27001 is very organized and I really like the suggestions it provides during the risk analysis phase. The document generation feature is fantastic and once you get used to the interface, it becomes easy to navigate.

Cons

There have been some issues with buttons not being enabled or disabled quickly enough. Some screens like the Risk Analyses are a bit slow. But I understand that this comes with handling so much information though it's something that could be improved.

Conformio provided us with a structured framework for ISO 27001 and helped ensure we followed a methodical approach throughout the process.

Cons

The document wizards were really helpful in creating complex policy documentation. It also allowed flexibility to override certain sections when needed, which is a nice touch.

The Document Template feature is a lifesaver. It helps draft new documents and clearly demonstrates how they relate to the standards and other references. It's like having a virtual consultant!

Cons

One downside, although not a major one, is portability. It's a bit challenging to move register data to another tool that the company is already using.

I love the step by step guide for managing the ISO 27001 certification process. It's easy to follow and keeps us on track.

Cons

The tool only supports ISO27001 so it's not as versatile when it comes to multiple information security standards.

It seems like it's geared towards new security programs or users with limited experience in running security programs which is great for those just starting out.
