Reliable and great company

Pros

I'm seriously impressed with their incident reports. They respond to incidents incredibly fast and take action right away, which gives me a lot of confidence in their system.

Cons

I wish there were EDR integrations. We still need to deploy something like SentinelOne to handle real time event response.

Easy setup, maintenance, and rollout

Pros

Setting it up was simple, maintaining it is just as easy and rolling it out was no hassle at all. This is exactly how a top tier security product should work.

Cons

If I had to pick one thing, the notifications could be a bit better.

Necessary for my job

Pros

This is absolutely outstanding. I use it daily and honestly could not do my job without it. The interface is super easy to understand and navigate and the real time reporting is spot on. When I need help, their support team is always there with excellent assistance.

Cons

The only real issue I have with this is that there is no merch. I would love to show off my support for this app because it's just that good.

Amazing product, support, and price

Pros

Support is a big deal to me and Huntress nails it. Their team is always ready to help, they really know what they are doing and they have been fantastic every time I have reached out. The product itself runs light, the dashboard is clean and the alert system works beautifully.

Cons

It would be great if it integrated with Defender for Business instead of just the free Windows Defender.

Quick and easy start

Pros

I love the community aspect of Huntress. Their weekly webinars and group sessions are packed with real-world insights. It is a great way to stay educated on today's security landscape.

Cons

Sometimes it feels like it is playing catch up, adding features just after competitors have them. I also wish there was a built in script for deployment instead of having to customize one.

It works good!

Pros

Huntress goes way beyond traditional antivirus software. The ransomware protection is top notch and I really appreciate the way they use canaries across storage to detect and block encryption attempts.

Cons

I had no problems deploying or using the software.

Loved huntress!

Pros

Deployment and management are sooo easy. The client is lightweight and non-intrusive and it detects threats like footholds and malware that our regular antivirus completely misses.

Cons

I don't have any complaints. The product works as expected and I like that the Huntress team keeps adding new features.

Perfect for MSPs

Pros

One of the best things is that Huntress reviews and classifies the severity of alerts before they ever reach us, which saves us a ton of time. They even include remediation steps and work directly with us when needed. The rollout and integrations were smooth and our clients did not run into any issues. The pricing model is a great fit for the SMB space.

Cons

It's not as advanced as some tools like SentinelOne or CrowdStrike but it works well alongside them.

Great impact and ongoing peace of mind

Pros

We deployed the agent using our RMM and the implementation was seamless. Right away it found some serious security issues and their support team helped me confirm the risks. That level of guidance is incredibly valuable.

Cons

At first, there was a problem with how agents were split into organizations but that issue has been fixed.

A must-have for MSPs

Pros

It was super easy to get Huntress up and running and using it is just as simple. Their support team has been fantastic the entire time.

Cons

So far my only complaint might be that it's limited to Windows devices.

What I love most is managing Windows Defender through Huntress. It's streamlined and super convenient.

Trusted IT service provider

Pros

Having Huntress as an extra layer of security gives us real peace of mind. It's like having a second set of eyes watching over our customers and it helps us bring security to the front of our client conversations.

Cons

Since features are always being developed, you have to be patient waiting for specific ones, like EDR, to come out.

So affordable it's costly not to use

Pros

This really delivers on its promises. They are always innovating and pushing boundaries while still excelling at their core features. The persistence detection is incredibly strong and their Managed AV service has been really solid in my experience.

Cons

There are not many downsides. This the only solution you need but they don't claim to be.
