“Easy to customize
Pros
Ironscales helps protect our company by securing our emails and lets us bypass the default Outlook settings. Also we can adjust the email settings to fit our specific needs.
Cons
I have not faced any issues with so far. The experience has been excellent.

“Modern way to block phishing attacks
Pros
The one-click report and remediation along with the 90 day scan back were huge advantages for us. Even though we have deployed traditional SEG solutions, they still miss a lot of phishing attacks. We have been amazed by the reports we have received and would highly recommend this anti-phishing solution to any company aware of where SEGs fall short.
Cons
Honestly there is almost nothing I dislike.

“Adds valuable protection against phishing and spoofing activities
Pros
It provides excellent phishing and account takeover detection along with the reporting button that is available for end users.
Cons
The training and phishing simulation options require a lot more manual effort to set up and maintain than they should. So I feel like it would be better if it was an automated process with a rotation of training videos that apply automatically to new users offering more flexibility and automation than what's available now.

“Was simple to set up
Pros
Ironscales was very easy to integrate into our Microsoft environment as it literally took about 10 minutes. Training end-users to report suspicious emails was pretty simple too. And for administrators managing through the portal or phone app is simple too. Plus I really like that it learns and adapts to your M365 environment by automatically detecting and quarantining most phishing emails.
Cons
We have been using it for about four years and we have not had anything negative to report.

“Offers fantastic security tools
Pros
It is extremely user-friendly and is backed by exceptional customer support which I like the most about it. Plus it performs flawlessly making it a reliable tool.
Cons
The cost seems a bit high to me especially since it does not offer all the training videos.

“Easy to use and learn
Pros
The UI is extremely easy to navigate. The information is clearly displayed and easy to read and the email metadata is concise. I usually only need to check it once or twice a day as the software is smart enough to handle the rest.
Cons
After marking an email as phishing there is often a delay before the category menu appears. In the beginning many items could not be flagged automatically which makes sense considering the software type. However at least twice a week I still have to manually review emails that are clearly spam.

“Backed by the community, it offers the best phishing protection
Pros
Ironscales banners are definitely one of our teams favorite features. Also it is easy for users to rush and click on a message without taking the time to confirm it is not phishing. The various warning banners effectively grab users attention and alert them to the need for caution. We have noticed that our users are more mindful of messages with the banners.
Cons
The community feedback feature sounds great in theory and we have found it helpful at times when dealing with certain messages. However we have frequently come across emails that were wrongly flagged as phishing by the IT community when in reality they were just spam.
