“Powerful tool with various features to manage and implement company policies.

Pros

Overall, ISMS.online is easy to use. While adapting to any new tool takes time, the learning curve is quick and manageable. We regularly use ISMS.online for auditing purposes, KPIs, management board reviews and incident logging. Customer support is excellent with short response times and efficient resolution of inquiries.

Cons

The search engine is super slow, making it difficult to search for something on the spot. Also the availability of integrations to incorporate ISMS.online into your organization's ecosystem is quite limited.

Pros

I appreciate how all of the security components of an ISMS (e.g., Risk Management, Threat Intelligence) are centralized in one place. It's a multifunctional tool that automates tasks, reducing the need for manual spreadsheets and other tedious processes.

Cons

I can't think of a downside I'm very happy with the tool overall.

The pre-written policies and notes are easy to adapt. Updating them is simple and the platform provides excellent auditability.

The search functionality is dreadful and not as flexible as I would like. However, overall the tool is great.

On the overview page, it's easy to miss that clicking on the various controls takes you to individual elements that can be changed. Maybe this could be made a bit easier to use?

“An excellent product for completing ISO 27001 certification for the first time.

Pros

The Assured Results Method (ARM) and included training materials were incredibly helpful in getting us up and running quickly. Customer support was prompt and friendly, which made the process smooth.

Cons

Exporting policies (like PDFs with anchors) to provide to an external auditor is a challenge. Also ISO auditors prefer the Statement of Applicability in a matrix format with inline summaries of the relevant controls within the organization.

Pros

Consultant's expertise has been extremely valuable. During migration/implementation, we have improved our existing policies. I also appreciate how quickly support is accessible through our account manager or tech support.

Cons

Honestly, I don't like the UI and the technical side of the product. Formatting within the policy box is time-consuming and doesn't match other applications. For example, having to learn that CTRL + 8 adds a bullet point seems unnecessary. When even our consultant, who uses the platform daily, had issues with the formatting, it highlighted the challenge. This is my only downside so far.

Pros

It has done much of the work for us and I'm confident it has helped us become compliant in areas where our customers asked us to improve. It's logical and easy to use and the progress tracker showing completed tasks and remaining work is very helpful. Our support analyst has been fantastic, offering immediate help and guidance. Her support has kept us confident and on track to get accredited as planned. I'm 100% satisfied.

Cons

There are many links to other areas of the system, which is good but sometimes makes it more complicated than it needs to be. It clearly binds you into the system for the long term but this is a very small downside compared to how happy I am with the system overall.

The video guides for ISO 27001 were a game changer. They simplify the complex aspects of implementing an ISO standard. The prewritten templates for policies and clauses saved time, which we used to tailor the documents to our process. The support team was excellent, helpful without being pushy. The platform is easy to navigate and the tracker for ISO 27001 implementation kept us focused and on target.

Some of the more in-depth features can feel a bit disconnected or not obvious immediately.

Cons

Although the initial learning curve required some adjustment, the support team offered excellent training resources and responsive assistance. In the end, the system has significantly reduced our administrative workload and helped standardize our processes across departments.
