“overall, great value for money”
Pros
Pricing has been very cost-effective for us since the licensing is based on admins and secrets rather than per server, so it scales nicely as the organization grows. One feature I really like is the service account password reset capability especially because it can detect every server and service tied to that account and restart those services afterward.
Cons
The internet-facing side could be improved, especially the external landing page or portal experience for hosting it directly online. It feels more geared toward internal use, so you really need to place some kind of remote access solution in front of it.

“Auditing capabilities is vital and fruitful for compliance”
Pros
Managing sensitive information is much safer with PAM360 because its password and privilege management features are very capable. The privileged access management functionality is on another level and the real-time monitoring and control have significantly strengthened our overall security standards.
Cons
One issue I ran into was that some existing access control configurations did not integrate very well with third-party applications. At times, I had to perform extra synchronization steps and that slightly affected our workflow efficiency.

“Helped improve our privileged access management regarding control”
Pros
One feature that proved especially valuable was its real time privileged session management. As it let us monitor and record sessions as they happened which gave us a clear audit trail and helped strengthen our organization's overall security posture.
Cons
During peak hours, we did run into occasional latency issues that affected how responsive the session management feature felt. At those times, setting up remote sessions could take longer which ended up slowing down our operations.

“Securely manage access credentials without risk of exposure”
Pros
PAM360's real-time monitoring of privileged accounts made a noticeable difference for us. The session recording and activity logging features have been especially valuable, giving us extra visibility into how accounts are being used and helping us strengthen both security and compliance.
Cons
We did run into some response delays at times, mainly while setting up the automated workflows.

“Ensured efficient and integrated privileged access control”
Pros
One thing that really sets ManageEngine PAM360 apart is how well it handles privileged account management with the kind of strong control we need to keep our systems secure. The session monitoring and real-time alerts have been especially valuable for reducing risk and catching issues early before they turn into bigger problems.
Cons
A challenge I have run into is with the reporting tools, especially during periods of heavy use. Generating detailed reports can sometimes be troublesome because filtering data for large user groups tends to slow audits down.

“Minimized our risk posture without adding operational burden”
Pros
The thing that worked very well with it was having all privileged account credentials stored in an encrypted way with the right access controls in place. The policy framework was also good and gave me control over access permissions, so only the users who genuinely needed certain passwords were able to get them.
Cons
Setting up the remote access service tunnel turned out to be more involved than it initially seemed, especially when the network segments were different. For the more typical use cases, it would be better if the wizards were less complicated.

“Assisted in offering protection for the restricted access rights”
Pros
One feature I really liked in PAM360 was its privileged session monitoring and recording. Having it set up to log every administrative session gave me a lot of confidence, especially when working with sensitive applications.
Cons
The only thing that seemed to be lacking was automatic password reset integration for a few less common third-party applications.

“Provided detail access control that has made our security stronger”
Pros
Using PAM360 I could assign permissions through role-based access control so users only had access to the specific systems they needed. The quick monitoring of user activity was also a real benefit, since it helped reduce potential security risks before they became bigger issues.
Cons
One issue I ran into was integrating it with certain ticketing systems which required extra configuration that wasn't very simple. Because of that, automating access approvals became a bit more complicated than expected.

“Review of PAM360”
Pros
Compared with some other products in this category, PAM360 is much more easy to use which really improves the overall end-user experience. With tools like this, both security and usability matter a lot and should be given almost equal importance. From what I have seen this product does a good job of maintaining that balance.
Cons
It already comes with many useful features but some integrations and failover configurations can still be quite complex and take time to set up properly. Also, as far as I know, the OCR feature for remote connections has not been released yet, although it seems to be in progress. Once those areas are addressed, the product will be even better.

“Great privileged management access tool”
Pros
Having all access to sensitive devices brought together in one platform is really valuable. Every session is logged and even recorded on video which makes it easy to review later whenever needed. It also sends notifications when someone connects to one of those sensitive devices, so you can monitor in real time what the person is doing.
Cons
There are a lot of features included, so some training is necessary before you can fully get comfortable with everything and use it to its full potential.
