Great service!

Pros

The service I get from Netsurion is solid. Their weekly reports are almost always delivered on schedule and provide really useful insights.

Cons

It doesn't really support managed service providers or public cloud services which is a pretty big limitation for our setup.

friendly team

Pros

I appreciate how flexible they are. No matter who I talk to there, they always work around how we prefer to handle things rather than forcing us into their processes. The team is also really laid-back and enjoyable to work with, never pushy about anything.

Cons

I haven't found anything yet that would make me want to switch to a different company or solution.

Detects attacks immediately

Pros

The managed SOC's response time during our simulated hack test was incredible. When we had a company attempt to breach our system, the platform detected the malicious script immediately and tracked exactly where the attackers were moving through our network. If this had been a real attack, we could've stopped it within minutes. They contacted us by phone and email almost instantly to alert us about taking action, not some report the next day but literally within minutes of detecting the bad script running on our network.

Cons

I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about working with this team. Whenever I reach out with questions, they're helpful, responsive and friendly. They consistently go above and beyond to resolve any issues I bring to their attention. Having worked with numerous vendors, I can confidently say they rank among the very best.

All-in-one security!

Pros

I like how this tool consolidates all our log data from Windows, Linux, network devices, security appliances and other sources, plus it handles IDS and vulnerability scanning well. The timely email alerts for critical situations are a lifesaver, no more constantly monitoring the system. The search functionality is powerful across all collected data and version 9's Elastic search implementation gave it a major performance boost. Their managed SIEMphonic service provides valuable periodic analysis and recommendations. What really stands out is the flexibility. They'll create custom integrations if you have systems they haven't already worked with.

Cons

The search functionality is powerful but it's not as simple as what you'd expect from Google or Bing. Once you get the hang of Lucene queries or the legacy filter system though, you can pretty much locate anything quickly.

Proactive team

Pros

The EventTracker team we work with is very proactive and really keeps us moving forward. Monthly meetings are super productive and the reports give us exactly what we need, both high-level summaries and detailed breakdowns. They customized our daily reports perfectly to match our workflow. The responsiveness is outstanding and they're not hesitant to reach out when needed to help protect our business.

Cons

I can't really find much to complain about here. The only thing I'd want is for our SIEM to automatically fix issues instead of just telling us what needs to be done. While the ET solution gives thorough explanations about remediation steps, it would be nice if it could handle some of that work for us.
