“Great Product

Pros

Orca is a brilliant tool. Being agentless and able to deploy in AWS, Azure and GCP makes it really efficient. Plus the support team has been great, always available when issues arise and quick to resolve them.

This is a strong platform that offers a wide range of security tooling features.

The one area I have concerns about is the shift left feature since there is no known IDE extension for the CLI.

I find the security score analysis and the from the news sections quite useful.

It is frustrating to see alerts that have already been dismissed and the algorithm for "security score analysis" is unclear.

Pros

Orca is quite easy to set up and delivers a wealth of data immediately. There is not a lot of maintenance required.

the lack of filters for things like file path is a probem for me.

Pros

Orca has been an essential tool for my business in improving our visibility into cloud resources. In addition to being an excellent product their support has been exceptional in addressing all our inquiries fixing bugs and speeding up our open cases.

Cons

The main issues I have raised with the support team about Orca are related to threat management reporting and exploring the software. They have recently released the Discovery app which allows us to create custom rules for the reports we need. I would appreciate further updates to their dashboarding features for tracking threats.

It is simple to configure and use provides great insights and automates remediation.

Orca does not have visibility into system activity like applications running in background.

The agentless feature was really helpful for me. Now with API scanning it has reached the next level.

The absence of a dark mode is disappointing. it should be essential for products to have this feature.

What I like most about Orca is its extensive array of security checks for our AWS environment as well as its continuous efforts to develop new features and improvements.

it would be better if they have a live scanner included but I suppose that is not part of how the product operates. A lower price would also be welcome.

the installation process is pretty simple and all the cloud assets are easily accessible to us.

It might be beneficial to group to have similar findings across scalable infrastructure instead of displaying each finding separately.

What I like is that orca facilitates collaboration among departments to manage cloud compliance security and posture. The interface is simple and easy to navigate and the integrations are simple to set up.

Occasionally they release new features that do not integrate with the rest of the product which can complicate usage.

The integration and automation are to the point resulting in a quick time to value, alert aggregation, automatic prioritization, mapped attack paths and responsive support with product development. That is what I like the most.

Cons

Currently it performs better with AWS than Azure but it is still evolving.

Pros

I like how Orca security performs side scanning secretly collecting data about our cloud data and then rigorously analyzing those records. The scan results are compared against Cves to create prioritized lists for mitigation.

Cons

The integration of Orca security with Microsoft teams for real time alerts is still in its early stages and I encountered some difficulties setting it up.

Side scanning vulnerability detection and compliance management are key features.

There are occasional website glitches but these can usually be fixed with a simple refresh.

Orcas Side scanning technology is outstanding. The fact that it operates without requiring an agent yet still provides so much insight is truly impressive.

Cons

Orca needs to improve its ability to differentiate between significant vulnerabilities and minor ones. There are often many alerts in our console from outdated kernel versions or issues that have already been patched.
