“Secure, Safe DNS for everyone
Pros
The console is easy to use and the service is effective.
Cons
At times searches are slow or lookups are slow across the network that SafeDNS is securing. Some frames do not return properly if at all on a webpage. The end user does not know what is wrong or if something is being blocked and yes there is a blocked page warning configured but it does not show up.

“SafeDNS- Low Maintenance Web Filter
Pros
It is very easy to set up without needing additional servers or software. There is a short learning curve and it effectively delivers web filter security. Maintenance is very low.
Cons
A few years ago products like this were free. Now the annual fee increases every year. That is my current drawback.

“Great Product
Pros
SafeDNS has simplified blocking harmful productivity limiting and bandwidth-consuming websites for our end users. While no system is perfect and a few legitimate sites may be blocked SafeDNS makes it easy for me as an administrator to whitelist domains that our end users need access to. Setting it up and maintaining it is simple.
Cons
Sometimes the product does not display the block page which requires additional troubleshooting on our part to determine if the site is down or being blocked. It would be a perfect product if the block screen appeared every time a site is being blocked.

“SafeDNS offers good protection, at a reasonable price.
Pros
Once the software is set up it functions smoothly The end users do not need to take any action it simply begins to work preventing access to unwanted sites. This holds true even when users are distributed across different networks.
Cons
This product is not fundamentally designed for the MSP model. It is intended for personal network management. Therefore licensing is not as clear as I would prefer. Managing licenses or license groups is also not very clear. There also does not seem to be a comprehensive guide regarding command line options needed for a push-out rollout.

“SafeDNS - a great product for client filtering
Pros
I set it up and it was done. There has not been a need for any special changes since I installed it several years ago.
Cons
I cannot think of anything I dislike about it.
