Helps us monitor everything instantly

Pros

It provides a comprehensive risk assessment, is user-friendly, scalable, offers alerting and notifications and has a strong focus on cybersecurity. Overall it has almost everything we were looking for.

Cons

The implementation is complex and I noticed a steep learning curve. Also some users have mentioned that they get false positive results.

Makes chargebacks less painful

Pros

Chargeback handles most of our work, automating responses and helping us win disputes. Also it is simple to use which is a big plus mainly when you are short on time and need to address fraudulent charges.

Cons

I wish there was better support for PayPal payments.

Had a great experience

Pros

We have been using the RTR solution to prevent chargebacks and so far, we have had a great experience with both the support and integration teams.

Cons

The notification system in the Accounts section is not functioning properly which annoys me a lot as it affects our workflow.

Decent option

Pros

I really like that I can track interactions with the Chargeback Agent and generate reports from them.

Cons

Well the API connections are quite limited and updates require IT involvement. And there is not much room for user customization which I wish were not the case.

Stood out among the rest

Pros

What stood out the most to me was how easy it was to manage alerts. Also the dispute dashboard is much cleaner than Stripe's.

Cons

Some features did not work as I expected. For example I tried setting up an email alert for every Chargeback alert but I kept getting an error.

Integrating it was simple

Pros

My team has assigned the task of integrating Chargeback into our current system for a quick rollout. Within the process, we have noticed that the API documentation was thorough helping us complete it in no time. Plus Chargeback's implementation team was always available and answered all our questions quickly and effectively.

Cons

We did not face any issues during the integration process. As the support was always just an email or phone call away.

Solid but not perfect

Pros

The simplicity of the system is definitely its greatest strength and that's the only good thing I have noticed about it!

Proven really useful in my workflow

Pros

Sift software is really useful in guiding us on how to respond best to disputes.

Cons

For our needs it involves too much converting between formats like Word and PDF. However we tend to be more detailed so it might be more of a personal preference.

Has some issues

Pros

The service is helpful when we need it and I feel like the new pricing structure could potentially save us some money.

Cons

Yes it definitely has its issues, such as there are a lot of duplicates, the dashboards are not great and key terms are not clearly defined.

Essential tool for us as we grow

Pros

There is a lot that we like about it from speed to ease of use and the ability to easily copy and paste screenshots as evidence. For a merchant handling 200 disputes weekly having an automated solution like this is very important.

Cons

Support for American Express and alternative payment methods like PayPal is limited which I hope they pay attention to soon.

It plays a key role in helping us grow

Pros

Preventing and managing chargebacks especially for subscription-based businesses can be confusing and tough. But the good thing is that with Chargeback, a lot of the uncertainty is removed and it puts control back in our hands. As it is like having an automated payment expert on our team.

Cons

We were eager to get it up and running quickly but it took about 4 to 6 weeks to get everything working smoothly. However it is not something major as in the end, it is working the best for us.

Most adaptable tool I've found

Pros

The workflows functionality and rules functionality where we can set multiple criteria and options inside each workflow for actions like blocking or reviewing are important for identifying fraudsters and their behavior. Plus the Machine Learning engine learns from our inputs which makes each tool we use a valuable lesson. This allows us to focus on other types of attacks relying on the tool.

Cons

Well I find the reporting pretty basic especially compared to the high functionality and advanced Machine Learning tools. This is an area where tools like Ravelin and Sift Science really excel.

Helped us stop fraud

Pros

Well the transaction scores we receive are typically accurate and quick and they have helped us avoid many potentially fraudulent orders.

Cons

We have run into situations where we could not find a transaction in the system for further investigation even though we received a score for the order.

Takes care of the problematic users

Pros

I like how it helps me identify suspicious interactions between users especially if someone has a network of accounts. Plus it checks if they are the same person by verifying if they are using the same device.

Cons

It is not quite easy to navigate. Also there are so many options and features that it can feel overwhelming. But once we get the hang of it we should be fine.
