Top-notch digital training for cybersecurity

Pros

It is a platform that provides top-notch digital programs to train and raise awareness about digital security across all networks. It protects your systems from all kinds of online threats. Plus it has the best digital integration, making the training resources easy to use and providing a professional, advanced user experience.

Cons

I've got no complaints about the effectiveness and technical performance of SoSafe's digital programs. My experience has been really positive and professional.

Modern design but limited library

Pros

The videos, learning modules and design look modern compared to some competitors. It makes security training feel less like a "mandatory compliance" task. The phishing simulations are realistic and adaptive and the gamified learning really drives engagement. The dashboard and reporting features are also really good.

Cons

quality is top-notch but I feel like SoSafe's library is not as large or diverse as KnowBe4's. There are fewer niche modules or industry-specific topics unless you buy add-ons. Plus the pricing is a bit higher compared to other platforms.

Multilingual support but complex setup & limitations

Pros

I really appreciate the eLearning courses that SoSafe's linguists create. they are interactive and well-done, offering a rich learning experience. What stands out is their multilingual support which is perfect for our global rollouts. It makes it way easier for our diverse team to understand the content which solves a lot of issues we have when delivering consistent training across different regions.

Cons

I find several things about it challenging. For one, there's a big lack of control on the IT side, which leads to confusion and extra work. The limited admin access doesn't solve our problems; it actually creates new ones. One major issue is the need to convert PDF policies into SCORM format, which was unexpected and adds unnecessary work for HR and IT staff along with extra costs. Also, rolling out campaigns is limited and requires SoSafe's intervention which reduces flexibility. The course catalog is also lacking, outdated and doesn't focus on emerging threats especially in areas like AI and social engineering. The initial setup was tough too especially with the SCORM files, campaign control and course catalog updates. Plus having to integrate with Adobe Captivate due to cost issues just adds to our business expenses.

Instant feedback with tricky setup

Pros

It gives automated solutions with instant feedback. It's really helpful because it keeps feedback relevant and immediate which makes it easier to understand and engage with. I also appreciate SoSafe's innovative approach to real threats. It's crucial because it helps us tackle security challenges more efficiently and proactively. It fits naturally into everyday use, both for work and personal life which makes it super practical.

Cons

initial setup was a little tricky especially when configuring things on Microsoft 365, exchange rules and device policies. It was more complex than expected.

Pros

they consistently roll out new modules that cover the latest and most relevant topics, which is fantastic! It's great to see them keeping the content fresh and up-to-date, ensuring we always have access to the most current information.

Cons

quiz levels are super creative! You really have to focus on the content to pass, which I love.

Easy to use tool

Pros

This platform is really user friendly for cybersecurity training. It simplifies complex topics, so employees at all levels of technical expertise can understand the key security practices. The interactive, gamified modules keep us engaged which is key to maintaining awareness and vigilance.

Cons

One thing I don't love about it is that a lot of the eLearnings are video-based. It makes it easy for users to just let the videos run without fully engaging with the content. I think it would be better if there were more interactive elements or ways to connect different modules together.

Realistic simulations

Pros

Simulations feel just like what employees see in their inbox or daily work. It makes the learning stick and the lessons are short and realistic, so it's easy to finish them instead of just clicking through to get it over with.

Cons

Sometimes it feels repetitive especially since the themes and scenarios seem similar. The mandatory training can be overwhelming and sometimes feels like I am just doing a task for the sake of it.
