“Great service that takes feedback seriously

Pros

The team behind this platform is very helpful and knowledgeable. They have been great at solving problems and teaching us how to get the most out of the powerful features. Things like discover, tagging and syncing assessment responses with inventory and custom fields are too good. Also the platform is easy to implement, integrate and use for silo discovery. We use it daily and navigating the interface is also quite simple.

Cons

We ran into a few bugs while working on our assessment templates which ended up costing us some time during setup. It slowed us down a bit but we worked around it.

“keeps privacy stuff running well

Pros

What I like most is how easily it automates privacy data management and reduces the risk of non compliance when it comes to data privacy laws.

Cons

Connecting it with some of our existing tech stack took longer and was more challenging than we expected. As it was not exactly plug and play for every tool we use.

We have very much liked how simple it is to use the system for managing user preferences. Overall we had a great experience.

Cons

Honestly I cannot think of anything I dislike about the platform. As it has been simple and clear to work with.

“Totally redefined our Privacy Ops workflow

Pros

I love how easy it is to build complex data privacy flows and manage consent even for legal data requests. Before we had Transcend.io scaling our privacy efforts would have been nearly impossible with a small team. But now thanks to this integration, our engineering SMEs can support privacy operations well without needing a full tech team.

Cons

Getting everything integrated did take a while but given how complex the platform is that is not too surprising. If I had to give feedback I would say it would have helped to have a better project timeline upfront so our leadership team could be aligned on key integration milestones. We were lucky we could keep using our old tool while setting this one up but I can see how that might be tricky for others who are on tighter timelines with legacy tools.

“Fits right into our system

Pros

Honestly I have really enjoyed using the platform especially because integrating it with our system was so easy and smooth.

Cons

One issue is that there is a chance we might lose some campaign tracking along the way. But honestly that is kind of the trade off we were prepared to make for getting the privacy features we needed.

“Covers privacy compliance from start to finish

Pros

One thing I really value is how flexible Transcend is. It supports both pre built integrations and fully custom setups which has helped us automate data request handling and keep our consent management organized. Plus their data silo tools are quite useful as we continue to scale. Also the onboarding process with their team was well structured and helped us get everything up and running fast.

Cons

The pricing is a little too high and I think that might make it harder for smaller businesses to consider this as a long term option.

“Powerful tool but not easy to install

Pros

From what I have seen this is the most advanced tech out there for managing consent. Also it works in a middle layer instead of relying on the browser which feels like a smarter approach. And the best thing is that even our consultant has provided us with great support throughout the process.

Cons

I feel like documentation could use some improvement as it does not go into enough detail and a few major concepts are left out. Also managing cookies and working through the data flow triage process turned out to be a lot more complex and time consuming than we initially expected.

Pros

The support team at Transcend made the setup process really simple. Ever since they have helped us stay on top of updates with no stress. Also tagging and organizing data sources through the interface is pretty easy which has made our consent management workflow way easier to handle.

Cons

So far our experience with the platform has been great. As we have not run into any problems worth mentioning.

Pros

With Transcend we have been able to fully automate what used to be a complex, manual task handled by agents. Also it has pretty much reduced our risk of non compliance and made it easier to meet privacy law requirements.

Cons

The implementation phase ended up taking more time than we had expected. Though it is not a dealbreaker but definitely something others should know before considering it.
