Webroot helps ease the mind about endpoint security. Great software.
Pros

Webroot is super simple to install and manage. It automatically updates virus signatures in real-time through their cloud platform. It's really solid software and offers great bang for your buck.

Cons

I really cannot think of any downsides to Webroot. It is easy for both users and administrators. We have never had any issues so thanks Webroot!

Was okay, frequent issues
Pros

Installing and uninstalling was easy. Sometimes it felt almost too easy to uninstall.

Cons

It was pretty common for the agent on computers to have trouble updating or connecting to the management portal and sometimes it struggled with setting changes from the management side.

Webroot is an amazing product!
Pros

This software works like a charm and is really easy to use. It definitely helps me tackle security threats.

Cons

This software has very rarely missed a potential threat but I want to stress that it is really a rare occurrence.

Webroot Business Endpoint a cheap alternative for small companies
Pros

The agent is lightweight and can be distributed through a prepacked version or downloaded via a link.

Cons

It could use some more advanced features and support from the local distributor has been pretty bad.

Great low noise AV
Pros

Its really low key on desktops. I only get a heads-up when it finds something. I appreciate how little it uses compared to some other options out there.

Cons

It does not have as many features as others with AI detection. I am not sure how it handles zero-day detections compared to higher end products.

its probably spam
Pros

Installation is simple but theres not much more to it. It's tough to see what this software has actually done on my system.

Cons

I have used Webroot for several years but just realized it is worse than many of the scammy software it's supposed to protect against. Webroot captures your PC and makes it really hard to remove. With the crazy renewal prices especially for those of us outside the USA/Canada, I decided to uninstall it. That is when I discovered how hard Webroot makes it to get rid of it. You almost need to be a tech expert to find the tricks to remove this malware. It is worse than any malware software I have seen. I would warn anyone considering installing it to be cautious!

Good Endpoint Protection But Not Good Enough
Pros

Webroot has a lightweight agent that is easy to set up and manage. It's good enough to keep off the shelf malware at bay.

Cons

It is a signature based product that does not cut it when it comes to defending against sophisticated malware.

Endpoint Protection with Confidence
Pros

Applying our own custom policies gives me peace of mind knowing our machines are secure. Detection is quiet, and admins get notified as needed. It uses very few resources on both machines and in our Microsoft Edge browser.

Cons

There is nothing I dislike about the software. It does everything right and I have no complaints.

Stable and solid security
Pros

This app has never let me down on the security front. It is worth every penny, if you are worried about internet safety, you should definitely consider using it.

Cons

My experience was excellent but keep in mind that your internet might slow down for security reasons.

Best in class with unique features at the cost
Pros

Endpoint security includes blacklisting and whitelisting apps, remote wipe, kiosk features, geofencing, and geotracking. It allows me to manage desktops, mobile devices and modern functionalities all from one device.

Cons

I have yet to find anything negative about this software.

Looking to give this product the Web "boot"!
Pros

This software usually acts as a reliable antivirus. Webroot installs easily and detects and handles threats well. Its an antivirus solution that typically gets the job done.

Cons

This product can occasionally break important functions on a workstation. For example we have seen the Identity Protection feature mess up Chrome so that it doesn't always launch properly. We have also had issues with workstations using specific Intel network adapters dropping the connection multiple times. While it was fixed in one release it broke again in the next. There have been too many of these issues recently for us to stick with Webroot. It has made us look unprofessional to our clients.

Quick setup and it runs smoothly in the background.

Cons

More reports or alerts on clean scans and what was scanned would be helpful.

Just a consumer grade product disguised as a business one
Pros

The software is easy to install, manage, and uninstall in a central management system. It's lightweight and doesn't hog resources.

Cons

I found the software frustrating to use and it lacked the granular control that other business products offer. It felt like they just took the consumer version and called it Business.

Great endpoint protection
Pros

Installation, management and monitoring are simple. Real time protection and cloud updates work really well. The threat intelligence is impressive and the admin center is easy to navigate. I can create groups for each client.

Cons

The admin center sometimes leaves computers uninstalled and there is no report on devices that are offline or disconnected from the database. If they could offer mobile device protection that would be great.

WebRoot review
Pros

It works quietly in the background. There are not many false positives, and I cannot remember a time it missed malware.

Cons

Webroot was set up by our IT provider and they configured all the controls so I am not sure if the limits were from the system or imposed by them. Still users had what they needed. It scanned in the background took action as necessary and users could trigger a scan when needed.

Webroot Endpoint Protection
Pros

Super easy to use! By far the easiest endpoint solution for my needs. Setting it up was easy, and everyone could install the client remotely with just a click, which is awesome.

Cons

It would be nice to have additional notifications from the app! I am not sure if I just don't have this figured out right or if it's a problem.

Lackluster mobile interface
Pros

Easy integration and a simple user interface. I liked that the scan results and actions were explained in plain language, so I knew what the app was doing and why.

Cons

The user interface looks ugly and outdated. While the laptop version of Webroot is feature-rich the mobile app only told me that my location was off and one other thing. I do not get why there is such a big difference between the desktop and mobile versions. I could not find a way to customize the scans on my phone and I have no idea if it saved any logs. I like Webroot products but this one just didn't do it for me.

Great web security tool
Pros

I used the Webroot SecureAnywhere version for free about five years ago, and it worked really well, protecting me from common viruses.

Cons

Since I used the free version it was a bit behind on what I needed it for. However I believe that with the full paid version I would have avoided some worms!

Overall good, might be challenging for new users
Pros

Once an endpoint reports back to the console about a blocked bad file sending a command for an on-demand scan is really easy.

Cons

The functionality in the interface is not always easy to grasp. There are many options but a novice user might not know what they can actually do.
