“Impressive Cloud Key functionality

Pros

What I appreciate most is how quickly it syncs users and the Cloud Key functionality really stands out. The portability is a nice bonus too.

Cons

Occasionally users end up with the wrong policy settings from another account which requires extensive troubleshooting on our end to sort out.

“Clean interface

Pros

The interface looks way cleaner compared to OpenDNS/Umbrella. The local agent keeps working even with split VPN tunnels which Umbrella can't handle. Setting it up with Active Directory is so much simpler than Umbrella and the Datto installation process is perfect.

Cons

The reporting could be more detailed. There are gaps in the information I need for my analysis.

“blocks sites very well and gives me peace of mind

Pros

I feel secure knowing users can't access compromised or inappropriate websites. It blocks everything really well sometimes maybe a bit too aggressively but that's not necessarily a bad thing!

Cons

I feel like notification system needs work. When a website gets blocked, I just receive a basic email alert. It would be amazing if I could approve or block the site directly from that email instead of having to log in separately.

“Ease of administration

Pros

Administration couldn't be simpler. The filtering categories are spot-on and I can easily sort policies by username or IP address. Allowing or blocking websites happens quickly through the interface and I've come across very few problems with the application overall.

Cons

Only thing I didn't like was not being able to add IP addresses instead of usernames but that's actually been fixed in a recent update. Other than that, it's been reliable with hardly any admin issues or user complaints.

“Protects our servers

Pros

Really nice how well this protects our business servers and computers. We get virtually no spam emails anymore. Easy setup though I worked with their tech support team to get the optimal configuration in place. The interface design really stands out to me. It's user-friendly and versatile with plenty of options and filters for each function that help me manage web activity more effectively. I can run detailed searches and get excellent information when needed. The reporting feature is simple but really useful. The pricing is incredible when you compare it to other systems that do far less but cost way more. Their customer service team deserves recognition too as they're very attentive and always ready to help resolve any issues that come up.

Cons

Initially felt pretty overwhelmed with all the features available. Wasn't sure where to begin or what functions I actually needed. Once I reached out to tech support though, everything started making more sense and I got comfortable.

“Huge selection of filter categories

Pros

Setting up users and locations takes no time. There's a huge selection of filter categories available so you can start managing web traffic right away. What really stands out is how granular you can get. Each location can have its own profile with custom white and blacklists which is fantastic for end users. The web interface is clean and makes it super easy to track what's been filtered from each location, plus the reporting is really convenient.

Cons

The only downside is that I haven't explored all the advanced features like AD integration yet though I don't really need them for my current setup. Everything I've used so far has worked perfectly which actually has me looking into their SpamTitan product as well.

Pros

The web filtering service runs smoothly and we're really happy with how well it performs.

Cons

The schedule reports don't quite match the quality of what I see in the history tab under reporting. Would be great if you could add those same history-style options to the main reporting section, it would definitely make this more appealing to potential users.

Really easy to use and the support team has been helpful when I've needed assistance. Implementation was not hard.

I couldn't get the whitelist feature to function properly so I ended up having to authorize every single category just to work around this major issue.

Pros

The service quality is outstanding. Getting the cloud version up and running happened in just one day and setting everything up was really simple.

Cons

The block page setup feels weird. I'd prefer being able to use html in the advanced configuration instead.

Pros

I've tested several DNS filtering services and this one stands out as the most effective at blocking adult content and inappropriate search results. The filtering capabilities are really impressive and work consistently well.

I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about this.
