What I liked most were the login limits notifications and the vulnerability scanning.

Cons

The cost is what I liked least about WP Cerber Security.

Pros

I switched from Big Commerce and did not need to worry about website security. The plans were becoming too expensive so I chose to use WooCommerce. However my website is under constant attack. Recently a bot was able to find vulnerabilities on my website and started creating hundreds of fake orders. I used Cerber Security to blacklist the IP address where the attack originated and the fake orders stopped. Cerber was able to help protect my site and offers helpful features.

Cons

The annual fee of $99 seems high. I believe $49 per year would be a more reasonable price.

“Solution for customers who like to borrow login

Pros

I liked it a lot mainly because I could limit customers from sharing logins with others allowing us to check the IPs from where they were accessed to identify fraud.

Cons

There is a lot to figure out which can be overwhelming but it is all for your protection.

Cerber is a powerful and comprehensive plugin.

Cons

I use Cerber to secure my sites and since upgrading to the pro version I have never had any security concerns or attacks.

The product is well designed and quite easy to configure. Many useful options assist in setting the security level.

The Security Scanner frequently returns a "Suspicious Code Found" message for almost all WP plugins. In this case it is unclear if WP Cerber will be able to prevent such a critical issue.

I love the ability to move wp contents block wp-admin.php wp-login.php and set up customizations for all of that.

The vulnerability scan seems to produce many false positives but it has identified files that should not be present.

The simplicity of the software sometimes leads to overlooking the need to turn off constant reminders. With so many lockouts occurring even our dedicated security mailbox struggled to handle the influx of emails being sent out. Thankfully after checking a couple of boxes this issue was resolved though it took us a while to get there.

About three months ago I had the unfortunate experience of our site being attacked by hackers who inundated the main files with a virus leading to the site being taken down by our hosting company. I sought their help but they could only refer me to a third party that would charge a significant amount. We are a small association of non-technical professionals who pay an annual fee for the site's upkeep and administration and do not have enough funds for exorbitant prices. I considered various solutions that would clean the infected area including WP Cerber Security. Attracted by their website information and the offer of a free version that seemed to provide more than most competitors it was an easy alternative for me. I ran the scan and followed the instructions to clean the compromised files. I have continued to keep the free plugin active and check almost daily to see how it prevents further malicious activity. I am so impressed with the software that I have recommended our members upgrade from the free version to the pro version for added peace of mind and security. It is a no-brainer and I can confidently recommend it to anyone seeking a solution.

Cons

The scan takes a long time to complete which is not necessarily negative but can be a bit frustrating when busy. Also adding a site to the safe listing can be somewhat confusing to carry out correctly.

The quick scan can be a bit confusing and offers limited features. Some settings might be challenging for new users who are not very tech-savvy.

Sometimes it blocks several pages. While it is easy to use I do not have any significant complaints about it.

Pros

WP Cerber Security includes a good anti-spam and anti-DDoS feature. It also has a sophisticated malware scanner and two-factor authentication to prevent hackers from accessing your website.

Cons

The WP Cerber Security team could improve the user interface significantly. Occasionally I feel lost among the numerous buttons to click. Aside from that WP Cerber Security performs quite well.

Pros

I like how it allows you to check user login status and importantly block IPs that continually probe for vulnerable code and send malicious requests. This helps significantly because you definitely do not want someone accessing the backdoor of your website without your knowledge. Once you identify which IP is causing issues you can simply click one button to add those IPs to the blacklist making it easy and effective. It is truly a great plugin.

Cons

The settings can be a bit complicated due to the numerous options available. You definitely need to spend some time on it. Luckily WP Cerber Security provides great documentation to guide you through the configuration step by step.

Pros

WP Cerber is loaded with options making it easy to secure your client sites from most attacks. The user interface and instructions are simple to understand making implementation quick and easy. The advanced menus and options allow you to enhance your site's security as you learn more about your needs.

Cons

There have been a few instances where it has blocked me from accessing or doing something I needed to. However this was my fault as I was still learning how to use the plugin effectively.

Pros

Using WP Cerber helps protect my website against malicious actors. The free version is excellent and protects against DDoS attacks while locking out many threats. All critical threats are kept at bay with WP Cerber. When using the paid version it provides access to additional security features we need for our website. It prevents bots from signing up and taking actions which was a significant issue before using this software.

Cons

Sometimes I feel a little lost when using the dashboard and adding IP addresses to the whitelist but the functionality is there. It is more of a personal issue.

1. It found more security issues and fixed them compared to Wordfence 2. Protected spam comments better than Wordfence.

Cons

The ease of use varies as some features can be a little complicated.

Pros

After experiencing a recently hacked site I learned about the paid version of this plugin and was attracted by its ability to remove malicious files after scanning. The first time I encountered this issue I spent hours sifting through my cPanel account removing all the affected files so this has saved me considerable time.

Cons

The only real negative is the time it takes to scan but I had to conduct full scans which likely impacted the duration.
