SAGE provides us with an advantage over competitors!

Pros

We absolutely love that we can link our SAGE accounting system directly with our Commercebuild site! Once the setup is complete, the ease of use, immediate pricing manipulation and fast customer service response time are some of the things we appreciate most.

Cons

There are limitations with "configurator" items and images, especially regarding sizing and the ability for images to change based on the selected item.

Ideal software for SAGE300

Pros

The ERP connection is AMAZING and the implementation team has been great. We also get amazing day-to-day support and most of our data can be easily exported or imported.

Cons

I wish there was a better connection to other software like Klaviyo and the "Favorites" feature for users feels a little inflexible.

Amazing product, though there's room for growth

Pros

It's pretty easy to use overall but diagnosing problems can be tricky. The training didn't cover all the available options so there's still a lot I don't know about what the system can do. Some of our issues might already have solutions within the program and we just don't know about them yet.

Cons

We can't modify the documents that get sent to customers, which is our #1 request from users. I also wish I had a better understanding of what each setting actually does. Additionally, there are certain fields we'd love to have mapped to our ERP especially with customer setup.

I loved the app and team

Pros

Customer service is excellent. The support team is very responsive and the backend is user-friendly. If you are techsavvy, there are plenty of options to customize the system, including applying your own CSS and JavaScript.

Cons

I would like to see updates to the UX on the backend and checkout pages. More types of reports would also be helpful.

Incredible support from commercebuild

Pros

The support center is always quick to respond and does an excellent job of keeping us informed about any issues we encounter.

Cons

I can't speak to how the support center handles more complex issues as I haven't had to reach out for those yet.

Would be good if it had an accpac and webstore

Pros

Unfortunately, what we were initially told the system could do and what it actually does are not the same. For example, with our old system, we could easily broadcast a seasonal pre-book list. This was clearly communicated as a requirement but between Sage 300 and Commercebuild, we've never been able to create an internal pre book list to send to customers, nor can we set one up internally for order entry as we had hoped.

Cons

One issue is that orders placed aren't sorted or forwarded to each sales rep. We also can't do a group email blast with a specific price list for bookings and there's no option for an "alternative price list" like we had before.

TOP notch customer service

Pros

The best feature of using Commercebuild is definitely the chat with an agent. You get real time help from a knowledgeable customer service team that understands your questions and responds quickly. They typically have answers for us within 24 hours or less.

Cons

Building containers is not as easy as I would like. The content doesn't always display correctly across different devices, and there are some limitations to our theme.

Overall a good ecommerce software

Pros

Really the commercebuild's customer support has been fantastic. They respond quickly to our support tickets and follow up to make sure we're successful.

Cons

We manage the backend of the eCommerce site in-house, but the upfront product training on how to maintain the site was limited.
