Pros
Keyword search and review reminders are helpful but I would really like to see more features in iJS that support future sales like better review reminder tools.
Cons
The supplier database has not been very useful as I could not locate a single Jungle Scout-recommended supplier on Alibaba.

“market insights are invaluable
Pros
My most-used feature is definitely market insights as it gives estimated revenue and units sold for millions of Amazon products. Also it is very helpful for understanding market share and spotting new competitors over the past two years. Building a segment with specific products or brands is simple too and the data usually loads in 15 to 30 minutes. Also I love that I can export everything to Excel to make custom charts in other programs.
Cons
I usually export the data because the interface feels slow and is not very user friendly especially when I need to analyze a brands products in detail. Sometimes the data accuracy is questionable due to how products are grouped algorithmically. Also it is tough to build high-level segments since filtering by title keywords and categories only goes so far. Having 36 months of data would really help for pre-COVID trend analysis.

“Really impressed with segment building
Pros
I am really impressed with how you can build segments and categories for Amazon brands as it's exactly what I was looking for.
Cons
Well I really wish this tool worked better for international markets. When I search using keywords, it would be pretty helpful to narrow down the results earlier in the process. Right now way too many completely unrelated products pop up which makes it harder to find what I am actually looking for.

“accurate segment tool but buggy
Pros
For me the segment manager and keyword scout are the most valuable tools. They are way more accurate than other options I've tried like Helium 10 or Merchant Words.
Cons
There are quite a few bugs especially in the segment manager. Segments take a long time to load and product variations that are clearly listed together on Amazon often are not grouped properly here.

Pros
Jungle Scout was pretty easy to set up and training the team was simple too. We are now giving clients deeper insights than ever and clearly showing them their potential on Amazon and how they compare to others.
Cons
We often have trouble reducing the number of ASINs in segments. It would be great to have an easier way to search specifically by Amazon category.

“Best for market research, despite glitches

This tool is the best for market research especially when presenting to new or current clients. The segment builder lets us show clients how their products stack up in their industry and helps us plan future budgets. The software gives us all the info we need to advise brands on new product launches and spending.
Cons
The software is powerful but it can be glitchy sometimes. When I am editing and filtering a segment, the filters don't always apply on the first try. It would also help to sort by subcategories when weeding out irrelevant ASINs from the segment list.

Pros
My absolute favorite feature is the market insights. It shows our team exactly how our clients stack up against the competition, where there is room to grow and what areas need improvement. We get everything from a big-picture view of the market size and revenue all the way down to detailed trends for specific products and keyword bids. This software has completely changed how our department works. Having all this important data just a few clicks away is incredibly valuable as it's made our market research, audits, optimizations and daily tasks so much more effective.
Cons
When building segments, I would love to see better filtering options especially the ability to filter by subcategories. Right now some subcategories don't fit well into the segments I am creating, particularly in broad markets. Also I feel like bulk filtering by subcategory would be a big help. Organizing the keyword list more cleanly without relying heavily on tabs or search would also improve the experience. Other than that I am really satisfied with the features.

Cons
Yes I have run into issues with data accuracy and segment building. Sometimes the data is clearly incorrect, downloads fail or segment updates do not save properly until I create an entirely new segment.

Pros
The best features are product insights and the ASIN tracker. For our needs, this tool is incredibly valuable as it helps us conduct competitor research for clients and understand changes that could affect our products or sales.
Cons
We have noticed inconsistencies between Amazon Analytics and the data in Market Insights and Segment Manager especially when it comes to revenue splits between 1P and 3P sellers.

It is the only tool I know that offers a full 24 months of historical data. Also creating market segments is also pretty simple.
Cons
Sales estimates for product variants are not always precise. It would also be helpful to have 36 months of historical data available instead of just 24.
