I got a reply to my email very quickly and it was an actual person, not an automated message which is good. Everything was pretty easy and my issue was already fixed by the following day.
Cons
To be honest I have not had any serious issues so far. The only thing that caught me off guard was the total charge as I expected to pay a bit over $500 but the final amount was over $600. I am assuming taxes were added in and while it is probably mentioned somewhere, I just wish that info was more visible and not hidden in the fine print.

The platform is really simple to use. As someone new to this I found the video guides especially useful and easy to understand.
Cons
Some of the products shown were not actually available or they were hard to locate. And I had to spend extra time digging around to find where they were listed.

Jungle Scout helps me dig into product research and spot great opportunities to sell. With all the data it provides I can track how my Amazon business is growing without stress. So subscribing to it has definitely been worth it.
Cons
Since we are based in Brazil, the language barrier has been our biggest struggle both with Jungle Scout and Amazon. We have been using ChatGPT to help us translate and understand things. That said Jungle Scout has been working well for us and meeting our needs so far.

Overall it is pretty simple to use and anytime I have needed support, their team has been really helpful.
Cons
There is a lot of content and data available which can feel like a lot to take in at the beginning. But honestly that is also one of the best things about the tool. My only problem is that it is a bit pricier than I'd usually go for.

I have tested a bunch of Amazon seller tools and Jungle Scout stands out above the rest. What I like most are the filters and features that help me pinpoint niches and winning products.
Cons
It is definitely on the pricey side but I still think it is worth the investment. Though there are a few restrictions with the entry level plan.

Jungle Scout offers quite detailed insights that make it easier to make smart, data based choices. Also the sales estimates, market analysis and product tracking features are pretty accurate and save a lot of time. Even their video tutorials and product training sessions around 30 to 40 minutes long are also very well done and easy to follow.
Cons
Some tools like the supplier database do not offer much depending on what kind of products you are researching. Also because there are so many features so I feel like it might feel a bit overwhelming to new users at first.

I use the market insights feature the most because it provides estimated revenue and units sold data for millions of products on Amazon. It is very helpful for analyzing market share and identifying new market entrants in the past 24 months. Creating segments with selected products and brands is simple and the data usually generates within 15-30 minutes. I can export the data to Excel which is useful for creating custom visualizations in other tools.
Cons
Well I prefer using the export data feature because the UI is slow and not very user friendly especially when analyzing a brands products in detail. Sometimes the data accuracy is questionable due to how the algorithm groups products together. Also it is difficult to create a high-level segment since title keywords and category filters only go so far. Having 36 months of data would be helpful for analyzing pre-COVID trends.

Cons
I wish it supported international compatibility. Also when using keywords to filter products, it would be useful to narrow down the criteria earlier. And often irrelevant products are included in the results.

Segment manager and keyword scout are the most useful tools for me. These are much more accurate than anything else I have tried such as Helium10 tools or MerchantWords.
Cons
There are a lot of bugs I noticed especially in the segment manager. Segments take a long time to load and product variations that are clearly visible on Amazon are often not listed together in the segment manager.

This tool is fantastic for market research especially when pitching to both new and existing clients. The segment builder tool helps us demonstrate how our clients products are performing in their industry and it aids in planning future budgets. The software provides us with the insights we need to make informed recommendations to brands regarding new product launches and budgets.
Cons
Jungle Scout software is great but like any other software it can be glitchy at times. When creating a segment and working on the editing and filtering part it sometimes takes a few attempts for the filters to apply correctly. Also it would be helpful to sort by subcategories when we are sorting through irrelevant ASINs that appear in the segment list.

The market insights tool is my most used feature. It helps our team see how our clients compare to competitors and whether there is room for brand growth or areas that need improvement. Plus the wealth of data available with just a few clicks is invaluable and has greatly enhanced our teams ability to conduct market research, audits, optimization and manage daily tasks.
Cons
When building segments I would like to see improvements in the filters particularly the ability to filter by subcategories. Right now sometimes a subcategory does not fit into the segment I am trying to build especially when working with broader terms and markets. Being able to filter subcategories in bulk would be a huge help. Also having a more organized keyword list instead of tabs or having to search through it would be beneficial. Other than that I have no other features I dislike.

I love the softwares capabilities. It is incredibly useful for identifying opportunities on Amazon and better assisting our consulting clients by understanding the market landscape. Plus Cobalt offers a lot of features that are perfect for this.
Cons
Well I have come across issues with data and building segments. Often it is clear that some of the data is inaccurate or things break when downloading data. And sometimes when I update a segment the changes don't take effect until I create an entirely new segment.

I find it easy to create custom segments and having access to two years of weekly or monthly historical data for segments, product titles and other ASIN-level details is simply amazing.
Cons
It is not possible to save segment definitions without keeping the segment live ie if I delete the segment I lose the configuration. Plus the Segment Info tab in the Excel download does not provide enough details to recreate a segment.

To me the best feature is the product insights and ASIN tracker. For our needs this tool offers significant value for competitor research that we can provide to clients or to help us understand changes that might affect our products or sales.
Cons
We are seeing inconsistencies between what we see in Amazon analytics and the data provided in market insights and segment manager especially regarding the split in revenue between 1P and 3P sellers.
