“A feature-rich and high-performance eCommerce platform”
Pros
Nopcommerce is fast, highly extensible, and scalable. I find it very user-friendly and it stays up to date with the latest technology, making it a reliable choice for modern e-commerce solutions.
Cons
At the moment, I don't have any major complaints. The one thing I'd like to see improved is the admin UI, which could be more modern and visually appealing. Everything else works great in my opinion.

“Not claiming it's the best (though it is), but definitely one of the top open-source CMS options out there”
Pros
I first came across nopCommerce about six or seven years ago through an enthusiastic individual. Back then, there weren't many resources to learn from, but I found my way through the question and answer forums where I could learn by reading others' questions and responses. With my background in C# and .NET, I quickly got a good grasp of this CMS. Over the years I've designed many plugins and built both store and non-store websites using it.
Cons
If I had to point out a downside, it would be that the system is quite resource-intensive and requires powerful hardware to run efficiently. Also, compiling plugins can be a time-consuming process, which can slow things down.

“Incredible product!”
Pros
What I like most about this product is how easy it is to deploy and use. It has been incredibly useful for our e-commerce website and the setup was easy as well.
Cons
There's nothing to really dislike about this product. Even though we sometimes face challenges with integrating it with other apps, we're able to manage and solve most issues. Some complex changes to our website can be difficult, but we find ways to work through them.

“Perfect for hands-on control of your eCommerce site”
Pros
It's very easy to install and get started on your own server, which is a big plus for anyone looking to set things up independently.
Cons
The non-coding customization options are a bit limited, which can be a bit frustrating if you're trying to make changes without technical knowledge.

“Affordable hosting prices”
Pros
NopCommerce comes with excellent out-of-the-box features, and its customization and integration capabilities are virtually endless. We really liked it.
Cons
While it outperforms its competitors in many ways, hosting it can be more expensive. I think it would be great if Microsoft could partner with hosting companies to offer more affordable options for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

“Easy to customize and tailor to your needs”
Pros
It provides end-to-end commerce solutions, and the platform is really easy to extend and integrate with our other systems.
Cons
The ability to manage product variants and discounts could be improved. Sometimes I feel like there are limitations when it comes to handling these aspects efficiently.

“Must-have software for any business”
Pros
I find it very easy to use, which makes it a great option for anyone new to running their own business or e-commerce store.
Cons
Setting up the platform can be a bit tricky, especially when trying to log in with Intuit. It requires some extra steps that can be confusing for new users like myself.

“It is the best eCommerce solution for us”
Pros
The source code is fully accessible on GitHub, and it's been perfectly written by the team. It's highly extensible through plugins using IOC/DI, and the MVC architecture with CSHTML pages makes frontend development much easier for us.
Cons
NopCommerce excels at organizing product data, managing orders, and handling all the backend business logic for eCommerce. However, I think it could do more to engage customers on the front page by adding more marketing tools, such as slideshow banners, content sections, and other visually appealing elements.

“Great shopping cart solution”
Pros
I think it's one of the best e-commerce platforms available, and since it's open source, it's an excellent choice for any .NET developer who wants a reliable shopping cart solution.
Cons
It would be great to see an upgrade to a more modern front-end technology, such as React, Angular, or Blazor, to make the platform feel more current and user-friendly.

“A fantastic resource for building e-commerce sites or contributing to”
Pros
As an open-source project with a solid community, it's a great resource for building e-commerce sites or contributing to. I would recommend it.
Cons
All of the features are fantastic. I don't need any additional products or add-ons to run your eCommerce site, this platform has everything you need.

“The ultimate solution: nopCommerce”
Pros
My experience working with this platform has made me feel more confident tackling any future projects that involve nopCommerce. The client is really satisfied with the product, and the modular design with the .NET MVC architecture allows for rapid customization.
Cons
One improvement I would suggest is integrating Taxjar for tax management. Additionally, the page recalculates taxes every time it reloads, even if the cart or checkout page hasn't changed. It would be great if the system could optimize this process to avoid unnecessary recalculations.

“It meets my expectations”
Pros
It feels like an open-plan shop; exciting to explore. The ease of use makes me feel like I'm already becoming a professional web developer as I work with it.
Cons
Sometimes, when I step away from the keyboard, I feel a bit disconnected or lonely. A more collaborative or interactive feature could help bridge that gap.

“Highly customizable platform”
Pros
NopCommerce allows me to create a store that's customized to the unique needs and processes of each company. The plugins are well-organized and the platform structure makes it easy to adapt the purchase flow as needed.
Cons
I think the CMS content management system still has room for improvement. It could be more intuitive and streamlined for easier content handling.

“Excellent use of the .NET stack”
Pros
I really appreciate the way the .NET stack is implemented, along with the binding technologies like Kendo UI and JQuery Datatable. The core logic in C# and the use of ASP.NET MVC architecture are great, and the incorporation of IOC/DI with Autofac, plus other .NET technologies like FluentAPI and AutoMapper, make the platform incredibly flexible and efficient.
Cons
I'd love to see the platform become more headless, leveraging a RESTful API. It would also be great to see an implementation of ASP.NET Blazor for a more modern, dynamic front-end experience.
