“Had an excellent reporting features
Pros
It is quite simple to use when it comes to generating reports, comparing data and tracking how our subscription programs are performing. So far the Ordergroove support team has been amazing as they are always quick to respond and pretty helpful. Also they have shared useful tools and advice that have helped us grow, strategize and succeed. Plus the new features like tracking disengaged subscriptions has allowed us to run our operations better than ever.
Cons
Changing subscriptions through customer profiles is a not simple task. Plus the integration with our custom website platform is not seamless which causes some functions to run a little less smoothly than we expected.

Pros
The support team is great as they are fast, friendly and really flexible. Since our needs are a bit different from the usual, they have been amazing at responding quickly and working through any problems or potential solutions with us.
Cons
Managing subscriptions via the admin dashboard can cause trouble. Even logging in can sometimes be a hassle and I noticed that do not have as much control over things like automated emails as I'd like.

“Making subscriptions simple
Pros
I have been working with them for about a year and a half to help grow our flavor subscription program. Over this time, they have been one of the most responsive and involved services my team has dealt with. Whether I was submitting support tickets, sending emails or having regular check-ins, I have always received excellent responses. Since we partnered with them we have gained over 7k new subscribers and made hundreds of thousands in revenue. Also we went through a huge rebrand recently and Ordergroove was pretty helpful with any changes we had to make or communications we needed to adjust. As we refined our subscription program we realized we needed to change our pricing model. Through many ideas and revisions, it stuck to our deadlines, helped us grandfather in specific subscribers and even created custom promotions. As we continue to grow, I am excited to expand into more of our product offerings and try new strategies to improve customer retention and maximize customer lifetime value.
Cons
The only thing I do not like about it is that they can't offer a discount on the first subscription purchase as they only manage recurring orders. It was not a major issue since we worked with our dev team to find a workaround that integrates with it but if available it would have made things a bit easier.

Pros
The Customer Success managers are super amazing and I love the monthly performance reviews. Plus the platform's interface for managing subscriptions and products is quite easy to use and the data analysis dashboard keeps getting better and more robust. And I really appreciate that Ordergroove listens to customer feedback and is quick to implement platform improvements.
Cons
A significant amount of product management is still executed manually which I wish were not the case.

Pros
We have been working with Ordergroove for a few years now and they have helped us revamp our subscription value propositions, pricing tiers and overall strategy. This has led to double digit growth in our program over the past year. A standout for us has been Valentina Barron, our most recent representative. In all my years at DWC we have never had a rep as involved and dedicated as her. She is always there to help us solve problems and grow. Honestly I can't say enough good things about Valentina as she has made our experience with Ordergroove so much better.
Cons
We often get told to work with Shopify on support tickets and vice versa, which can put us in a difficult position when troubleshooting. And this sometimes results in custom coding or other fixes to ensure everything works properly.

Pros
OrderGroove's platform is pretty easy to use and highly intuitive. The support we have gotten has been amazing too and we absolutely love our CSM. So a huge shoutout to Sam! Overall it is a great fit for our business and they are constantly rolling out new tools, whether it is improving the UI, adding new sales options or providing helpful analytics. If we ever run into technical issues, the OrderGroove team is always quick to help us sort them out.
Cons
There are not many disadvantages I can think of. There are probably some additional features in their integrations that could be useful but the best thing about them is that they are always working on updates.

Along with having one of the most efficient and knowledgeable support teams I have come across, it is clear quite that they really listens to customer feedback and uses it to develop features that are actually helpful.
Cons

We have an amazing account team that helped us successfully relaunch our subscription program. Their support through all of our custom requirements was proven to be the key to the success of the launch, helping us boost our subscription sign ups by around 60% compared to the previous performance of our already thriving program.
Cons
I do wish there were more controls and analytics available for their email notifications to customers. However they have an open API that we plan to use to pass events to our own CRM system which we will handle in the near future.

“Onboarding process was hassle-free

The team is very helpful in onboarding us, working closely with our development team on the customizations we needed and training us on the platform. We had a very complex subscription service to move but the process has been seamless. The integration was completed on time with full support throughout. Overall the system has already made a huge impact on our business as it makes it much easier to manage, report and track subscriptions. Also we have been able to empower our customers to manage their own subscriptions which has significantly reduced the internal resources required for the project. A big win for us.
Cons
So far the only issue we have come across is that the support hours are not very convenient for UK working hours. Also in the future it would be helpful to have visibility into the transactional email logs and better reporting, so we can track who is opened or clicked on reminder emails.

We are always in touch with our success manager and the team is consistently fast at providing solutions and assistance. The RC3 analytics platform is easy to use and offers great insights. Plus the reporting platform continues to improve giving us valuable and actionable data to better manage our program.
Cons
We have had trouble finding a solution for discontinued items and would love a more automated process that suggests replacement products in the SMI and via email when an item is about to be discontinued.

“It is a complete package

It is a great combination of full service with flexibility as they offer both technical support and strategic account management. It feels like an extension of our team, empowering technical, marketing and operational users to create better customer experiences. Over the past 18 months the OG solution has rolled out three major improvements that required almost zero technical time to implement and use. Our OG account management team spent one on one time with us to introduce and train us on these new features and we started using them right away. This kind of support is key to our success.
Cons
Every software has its pros and cons but our experience with OG has been great. They have helped us focus on what matters most in supporting our customers. The tools have been effective in cutting down the time spent managing items, orders and discontinued products by over 1000 hours in the first year. Overall the limitations are definitely outweighed by the benefits.

Ordergroove has helped us extend the lifetime value of our customers and has been an amazing guide in securing a steady revenue stream. Overall the subscription experience they offer is almost seamless. Plus their customer support is responsive and timely whenever we have questions or issues. The growing analytics platform has been quite insightful too. And we even had a recent change in customer success managers and the transition was smooth and seamless.
Cons
One challenge we faced was the initial integration. It took a lot of trial and error and the documentation could have been more detailed. Also there are not many out of the box promotion options, so most of our ideas have required development work. After our launch we even encountered an issue where recurring orders were not being placed and we did not know until our AM contacted us. So it would be helpful for Ordergroove to have an email notification system to alert us when orders are not successfully placed or if a percentage of them fail.
