It really impressed me

Pros

One thing I really like was getting a higher spending limit right from the start when I signed up for my Four account. Also the app itself is pretty simple to use especially when it comes to making payments.

Cons

The only thing I am not a fan of is that it does not work with all merchants.

Perfect for managing finances

Pros

I was able to go over my spending limit without getting charged interest which came in handy for unexpected big purchases. Also adding Four at checkout was easy and I like how it clearly shows your limit and the stores you can shop from as it makes splitting payments a lot smoother.

Cons

Honestly I got frustrated pretty often when the stores I wanted to shop at did not support Four which eventually led me to stop using the split payment option altogether. Also it feels like the number of participating retailers is really limited.

Helped me drive more store sales

Pros

Four helped me understand how offering flexible payments can lower cart abandonment in my online store. Also giving customers the option to pay in interest free installments at checkout has encouraged more purchases.

Cons

The thing I did not like is that it only offers one kind of payment plan. Also if someone wants a longer term or something more flexible, they are basically out of options.

Made a huge difference for my business

Pros

Using It has definitely helped boost sales for my online business. Also it took no time to connect it to my existing shopping cart system and setting everything up was pretty simple too.

Cons

As a seller I do not get much say in how it appears during checkout. I cannot change the wording, add branding or make it blend with my store's look and feel as it just feels disconnected from the rest of my site.

works well but when it works

Pros

The platform is clean and easy to work with. Right on the homepage it shows your spending limit and where you can use it which I really like. And even after getting denied by Four a few times I still found the integration on retail sites smooth as it helps keep track of what you are spending and makes the whole checkout process faster.

Cons

Four is still pretty new compared to other buy now pay later platforms so the selection of stores is small. Big names like Amazon, BestBuy or Newegg are not on there. Also a lot of the available stores do not appeal to me either. I started back in 2022 with a $200 limit but got rejected every time I tried to use it. One day I finally got approved, used it once and then got rejected again after that. Reaching out to support also did not help as they just repeated the same rejection notice and it took almost a week to even get a response. In short it is definitely not helpful.

Allows managing big payments easily

Pros

It is very simple and user friendly at the same time. Plus It's especially useful when you are planning a big purchase but cannot pay the full amount right away.

Cons

The app tends to glitch and I noticed that sometimes it won't approve people even if their credit score is solid.

Really bad experience

Pros

Honestly the experience was awful. I won't be using this app again like ever again.

Cons

They kept charging me for something I had already returned and then slapped on multiple late fees. Plus I ended up with a negative $33.15 in my bank account and they kept trying to collect from it anyway. Seriously there should be a phone number to reach customer service directly.

Love the buy-now-pay-later option

Pros

What is great is being able to grab what you need now and split the total into four equal payments with no interest. Also I would say it is a smart way to help retailers improve their conversion rates.

Cons

I like the concept overall but I think what would really improve the platform is partnering with bigger well known stores. Plus if they expanded their reach to include more major retailers I bet a lot more people would start using it.

Huge boost in our sales thanks to it

Pros

As soon as we added Four to our checkout our conversion rate saw a big improvement.

Cons

We have had no complaints with it. Our partnership has been great and we are fully satisfied.

Honest company helping us split costs

Pros

It works really well with Shopify which powers our site. That integration makes it easier for us to track orders placed through It and it gives shoppers a simple way to split payments into four interest free chunks.

Cons

While I like that their support team responds quickly through email, I feel like adding a live chat would be more up to speed with what most services offer these days. Hopefully they will roll that out soon.
