“Not the best compared with Legacy P+
Pros
I definitely prefer the Legacy P+ over the new platform. There are many features in Legacy P+ that I can use easily which are not as simple to access in the new platform.
Cons
The new Purchase Plus platform is not as good as the Legacy version. It does not allow me to multi-select invoices and export them. The exported invoices don't show the export date so if I need to find an invoice and see when I exported it I have to go through a long process of clicking into each invoice. While Legacy Purchase Plus made this just two clicks away the new platform feels like it is moving backward in this regard. The splitting of journal entries by line is also confusing as I am not sure how to split invoices by line items on the new platform. It is complicated. In Legacy P+, it was much more simple. Sometimes Purchase Plus does not even read invoices correctly and it imports them into the dashboard without any journal entries. Ive reported this issue to support more than 3 to 4 times.

“Personal take on the pros and cons of using it
Pros
Quick response times are great. I also like the new PPlus features such as the improved reports and report templates.
Cons
I don't like that I cannot separate operationally approved from not approved in the new Purchase Plus. You could do this in the legacy version but for some reason, it's not an option in the new version. This feature is really important to me.

“My comparison of New P+ and Legacy P+
Pros
The Legacy Purchase Plus allows us to separate tasks in our accounting process giving us better control and accuracy when recording financial transactions.
Cons
The new Purchase Plus does not allow us to keep the same separation of tasks in our accounting process. We usually separate the roles of the approver and the accountant. The Legacy version of Purchase Plus let us edit the account code, reference and invoice number for all reconciled invoices to match our accounting system (the SUN System). However the new version only allows the approver to edit invoices which means we cannot maintain the same task separation.

Pros
It is easy to access and the AI integration is fantastic. While it is still improving I can see noticeable improvements every day.
Cons
There should be a guide available on the homepage to help train new staff. This guide should include a search engine for FAQs allowing them to easily find answers. Additionally there should be an option to select and sort multiple invoices, then download them with just one click as this would be helpful for backups when we are making payments.

This platform is pretty easy to use with a sleek, clean design that makes onboarding smooth. New team members quickly get the hang of it saving us valuable time. In our competitive marketplace this system ensures we get the best pricing which is crucial for our Procurement department. Plus real-time data access allows us to make quick, informed decisions whether for daily operations or strategic planning!
Cons
I really love the new UX so much so that it is a bit hard to go back to the Legacy UX for certain tasks. However I know that we are expecting the new UX to be fully implemented by 2025. The reporting works well but having interactive dashboards would make insights more accessible at a glance. Also it would be great to have a more advanced budgeting module with forecasting tools.

I really like the user friendly interface which helps streamline and eliminate manual work.
Cons
There is no direct contact for support unless you're an entry-level user. As sometimes it feels like I know more than the support person assigned to me.
