“A great tool for managing marketplaces
Pros
Rithum software is very easy to learn and use. It has a smooth product uploading process that takes the stress out of each product launch. Plus it provides us with daily reports to help analyze our business. The team members we work with have always been great at helping us get things done.
Cons
When we first started working with Rithum, communication and the workflow were a bit of a challenge as we figured out what worked best for our needs. But once we got the hang of it everything has been smooth sailing.

“Overall it is a great tool
Pros
One thing I like a lot is the ability to customize data both into and out of the system across different sales channels.
Cons
The only issue I noticed is that onboarding new sales channels has had its share of issues.

“Ideal for handling all platforms at once
Pros
It is a simple and clear software for managing all platforms we use in one place.
Cons
Rithum software was not the most user friendly but I would say it was not bad either.

“Stay away at any cost
Pros
There are many channels and customizations but let me tell you that it can be hard to navigate if you are not tech-savvy and they charge for all support. So it is better that you learn everything about it before making a decision.
Cons
To be honest horrible experience as it did not do everything it promised. The shipping module is the worst. It took 2 to 5 minutes per order to ship. Plus if you ship from Amazon or other marketplaces, you have to manually update the order on ChannelAdvisor/Rithum. I never got Facebook up and running and it took six months to get my pick list organized by location. They take forever to fix things, promise a lot but it does not actually work that way. The first two reps they gave me for setup were extremely rude and yelled at me. I would say worst experience ever and then they would not let me out of my contract even when it was clear it was not going to work for my business. It's expensive and not worth it.

“Too bad
Pros
They claimed you could control every online marketplace through ChannelAdvisor. But it is just a claim I feel like. And there is nothing I find so special about this tool.
Cons
It was not true as we still need to create listings individually in marketplaces to access other features.

“Excellent for multi-channel selling
Pros
We switched from an old system to ChannelAdvisor a few years ago. The biggest advantage was its ability to offer multiple selling options across several online marketplaces. One of the best features is being able to pull in data feeds from various sources and map them the way I want.
Cons
Many routine tasks like receiving and updating inventory counts can be a difficult task. We have developed other tools that integrate with ChannelAdvisor and are much more efficient.

“Think before you commit
Pros
There is no doubt that ChannelAdvisor offers some of the best software available which makes it very appealing. Plus the software has lots of features many of which you will probably never use. And it supports a wide range of marketplaces and the mapping for those marketplaces is excellent. It also includes an Auto Pricer and many other useful features.
Cons
There is no phone support and you often have to wait days for email replies. Onboarding help is only available if you pay thousands. They lock you into a long contract that I am really uncomfortable with and I cannot get out of it. The monthly fees are insanely high. Once our revenue reaches a certain threshold, they start taking a percentage of your earnings in addition to the monthly fees. And overall the software is very complicated and often requires support which is basically nonexistent. You might wait days to get an answer to a question and most of the time, they just send you a link to a help page.

“Looks good but the support is terrible
Pros
It makes onboarding onto multiple marketplaces simple with a single data feed and a powerful rules engine. We can also grow into the solution as our needs expand.
Cons
The project and onboarding support has been awful. You are basically left to figure things out on your own. Most of the good staff seem overworked and the others don't seem to care. They make no effort to understand our business or ensure the tool is set up properly so we are better off just taking the basic onboarding package and doing everything yourself.

“Perfect for automating workflows
Pros
The portal is user friendly and has many features that can save us both time and money. Plus shared inventory across multiple channels is pretty helpful, finding articles in the documentation is quick and the support team is knowledgeable in most cases.
Cons
Rithum auto detection of categories on third-party channels needs significant improvement. Also the category and subcategory valid values provided are either lacking in detail or completely missing. Plus one thing I dislike the most is that there are no video tutorials available.

“The cancellation process is a disaster
Pros
I find it simple and fairly easy to use.
Cons
They use old school sales and retention tactics, trying to hook you in and lock you into a legal contract from all directions. And when it is time to cancel It is like impossible. I thought I canceled on time but apparently, I did not and now they have sent me to collections for an entire year of service I won't even use.

“Excellent for keeping things organized
Pros
Rithum software is easy to use, very well designed and backed by a great support team. Also it provides the most relevant information to us that too in an easy to handle format.
Cons
No glitches or major downsides to share but yes it is still a bit on the expensive side as per me.
