“Excellent service with detailed and clear objectives
Pros
True professionalism... Sometimes, when you're working with red teams that have skilled hackers, you might come across some quirky individuals who aren't the easiest to work with especially during scoping calls where non-technical people are involved. What I really appreciated was their consistent professionalism. They made sure no one in any call or meeting ever felt less important for not being a lifelong computer hacker like me or a hobbyist hacker. I also tend to prefer people who use their skills in legal and ethical ways, rather than anything shady. The project manager was excellent at coordinating dates and times and ensuring I knew exactly when and where my involvement was needed. This level of communication really stood out to me, especially because my past experience with logistics like UPS driver communication, showed me how crucial clear coordination is to the success of any mission.
Cons
Honestly I can't think of anything I really disliked or found weak in the areas where they needed to be strong. There's always a trade off when working with a consulting firm or third-party especially when you are required to do so to avoid bias in self auditing. But I can't say anything bad about them. Everyone really performed at a high level and worked together to achieve the desired result, which was a passing, compliant score.

“So useful and user friendly
Pros
NexGen was really easy to use. It helped us stay more organized and on top of things with our projects. It definitely saved us a lot of time and made us more detail-oriented.
Cons
It was a little tricky when it came to sharing the technology with multiple users. Some people were able to use it more easily than others so it wasn't as all-inclusive as we had hoped.

“It amazingly handled administration tasks
Pros
It made it possible for us to give local admins the ability to handle administrative tasks and validate the changes they made. It was a big time-saver and added a lot of flexibility.
Cons
I would love to see the tool expand to cover sub-sprints. If that feature is added, NexGen could be a much bigger and more powerful tool than it is now. Please consider adding that feature!

“NexGen played a key role in our full Salesforce rollout
Pros
The best part of working with them was their professionalism. In meetings, you could ask them any question about Salesforce or its limitations and get a quick, accurate answer.
Cons
Towards the end of our time, it became clear that the company wasn't as attentive as we hoped. We expected meetings to be used for discussing our business needs and for the time in between meetings to be used for brainstorming and implementing those changes. Instead we often had to repeat ourselves and the consultant would quickly make changes during the meetings.

Autoflow is really helpful. It simplifies things by reducing the number of tabs you need to deal with.
Cons
It repeatedly asks the same questions. A back button would be a great addition!

Their consulting fees are on the higher side, typically around $200 per hour.
