Once software was installed and we had our initial training, I never had to call support again.

Pros

The software is easy to use with a gentle learning curve. I enjoyed leading the training department in our company because of this.

Cons

The only possible thing I can even think to say is a con about the program is at times it seems to bog down when there are multiple users on.

Cons

The only potential downside I can think of is that the program occasionally slows down when many users are logged in.

Down-sizing Office Hours While Optimizing Patient Interaction

Pros

This software was initially introduced for a Physician on our Board of Directors who is gradually retiring from active practice. Balancing his administrative duties from rural Virginia with his diverse travel schedule for leisure and board engagements was challenging. Our IT team suggested this software after we had to repeatedly rearrange Board Meeting Agendas due to his missed appointments and prescription needs. Our Chief Information Officer took charge and concentrated on the e-prescribing feature. It's been eight months now, and we've only encountered minor glitches. Going paperless can be daunting for some, but the active patient portals won him over, making the system a mainstay as he continues to make recommendations for his patients. His secretary has also integrated all billing matters into the system, allowing her to work from home seamlessly. As his tenure ends, billing will be straightforward for collections. Additionally, the secretary has begun using the integrated office workflow scheduler and is now dedicating her available time to the administrative needs of a new doctor.

Cons

The primary issue we've faced is the limitation of only five computers under the small business plan. Now that the founding doctor is fully retiring but will still be available for mentorship or emergencies, we need to include seven full-time PCs. Another drawback is the inability to use it on an iOS device with our current imaging system, as the two can't run together.

Easy and effective

Pros

I like their accessibility and expertise with their product. They are very helpful in resolving issues, always responsive when you call for assistance.

Cons

The only drawback is the wait time when calling support. However, it's worth it because they dedicate the necessary time to resolve your issue when it's your turn.

AMS: Amazing Practice Management Software

Pros

AMS has excellent customer service. Their product is great, and the support they provide is exceptional. They are always ready to guide us through the system or solve any issues. We appreciate the reports that can be generated.

Cons

Some of our providers believe the e-scribe module is frequently down. Additionally, it would be incredibly useful to track RVUs and WRVUs within the system.
