“Reliable and user-friendly for 15 years
Pros
I have used this software for over 15 years. It is user?friendly, makes posting simple, the EHR works well and support has always been helpful and pleasant. Also their pricing fits a small chiropractic clinic and includes updates. Even electronic billing runs smoothly and quickly, recording insurance and patient payments is simple and overall I am very pleased with this billing and EHR solution.
Cons
The recent change to appointments because AT&T no longer supports email?to?text, is the only issue I have faced. Otherwise no complaints.

“It is painfully slow
Pros
Chiro8000 billing system works well. It is probably the only feature that consistently impresses me.
Cons
The EHR is painfully slow as moving between screens can take up to a full minute to load.

“Really easy and prefect for busy chiropractors
Pros
It is really easy to use, with a simple interface that doesn't slow me down. As a busy chiropractor, I want software that's simple, reliable and helps me finish tasks quickly and this delivers. When a patient needs billing, I can produce what they need in seconds. Also everything necessary to run my office day to day is included which saves time and keeps things organized.
Cons
I cannot generate a Daysheet and save or export it to Excel. Instead I have to print it on paper every day to clear it for the next day, which feels outdated and inconvenient.

“Single main screen for most functions
Pros
I like that there is a single main screen where I can reach most functions.
Cons
The reports feel limited and the calendar is not visually clear when appointments are scheduled, so it's harder to see bookings at a glance.

“Simple and easy to use
Pros
One thing I really like is how simple and easy it is to use.
Cons
There is a problem that we always have to keep the back computer powered on whenever someone logs in at the front computer to use this tool.

“Comprehensive system with great support
Pros
Filing claims is pretty easy. Overall it is a comprehensive system that handles bookkeeping and keeps patient notes in order. In 2009 we expanded to a three doctor practice and the software adjusted to our needs while keeping each doctors records neat. In 2013 we bought an expensive electronic charting program from another vendor but for multi?provider posting and overall accounting, it did not work for our office. After a four month trial with only Medicare patients, we switched to the FORTE EMR module and have run it full time since. Online training videos let doctors and staff learn at their own pace and questions are handled promptly. Also its technical support replies professionally and is well?trained at resolving issues. They invite improvement ideas and have a team that investigates suggestions. When an update causes an issue, they usually respond quickly with a patch or fix. We appreciate that responsiveness.
Cons
It would help if they offered off?site backups. We had a system meltdown and the team got us back up fast, but I feel like remote backup storage managed by them would add security and peace of mind if our on?site backup is corrupted.

“Impressive and wonderful account handler
Pros
I am really impressed with our account handler as they were absolutely wonderful, guiding my office manager through tricky steps with patience and efficiency. In most businesses I expect decent service but this account executive went far beyond and I genuinely appreciate the extra effort and support.
Cons
Well I am a bit old?school with technology and don't know the software well enough to say what I like or dislike. But I am very grateful for the account executives patience in walking my office manager through the system step by step.

“Easy to use and customizable
Pros
It is pretty easy to use. Entering follow?up information is quick and painless too. And for new patients, exams are simple to navigate and help prevent errors. After the latest updates, it became even more user?friendly. Plus following the workflow practically completes a full OPQRST evaluation. I can also customize exam templates and reorder evaluations to fit my practice, including orthopedic and neurological checks. For new patients, nearly everything is fill in the blank or checkboxes, covering about 99% of the fields I need.
Cons
I actually enjoy keeping up with follow?up entries and evaluation reminders because they help me stay current. So what's not to like?

“way too easy to customize
Pros
With Chiro8000, it is incredibly easy to customize the software to how my practice runs. It includes every patient record category I rely on, handling both day to day office management and full electronic health records. In fact it is so comprehensive that it offers features and modules I'll probably never need but I appreciate them being covered if a new requirement arises. I also like that data is kept locally rather than stored off?site, so my computer does not depend on remote storage being online.
Cons
It took a while to fine?tune the program to how I work but the effort was worthwhile. After customizing settings and templates, it now runs smoothly for my daily workflows.

“Twenty years of praise and support
Pros
We have used this software for over 20 years and have nothing but praise for its features and customer support. They return calls promptly, are consistently kind and knowledgeable and respond immediately when we need help. Electronic billing is easy too and the EMR is refreshingly simple to use. As a one?doctor practice, this tool have met our billing and documentation needs perfectly. I have no complaints.
Cons
No cons to share as West Coast customer service hours have never been an issue. Since we work from a home office, we contact Support after our normal hours and get answers right away. Yes we needed to buy a Windows 10 computer as part of necessary upgrading as our old XP machine was no longer supported. But with lower prices and faster systems today, buying a new computer was not a hardship.

“Separate billing and EMR for speed
Pros
I like that the billing system is separate from the EMR as it lets us accelerate billing workflows and get quicker, more reliable outcomes for claim submissions and overall processing.
Cons
Nothing major but I'd be much happier if this were a cloud?based system so I could log in and use it from anywhere.

“Stronger functionality and easier navigation
Pros
Ive used Forte software for many years and the most recent upgrade really impresses me. The functionality feels stronger and the display makes patient records easier to navigate. So yes it is definitely an improvement.
Cons
There isn't much to complain about. Rarely the program glitches but it is better than earlier versions. And when problems pop up, tech support usually resolves them within a few hours.

“Best medical billing and reliable support
Pros
The medical billing features are the best, the interface is easy to use and the support team is reliable.
Cons
I cannot think of any real downsides. When I need help, support has been effective at resolving issues. But yes I'd just prefer English language support rather than support routed through India.

“Frequent demanding upgrades and glitches
Pros
I like the simple layout and easy to read screens. And now I am adding extra text here only to meet the required character count because truthfully, I don't have any additional positives to share.
Cons
This is a server?based system that has required frequent upgrades and new versions over the years, demanding more powerful computers. When our machines fell short, we ran into problems and tech support was largely unhelpful. The only answer we received was that we did not meet the requirements. For a small office, it's unrealistic to suddenly replace ten computers every time a version changes. I also did not notice real usability improvements, so upgrades felt like a burden. The software has constant glitches, forcing repeated calls to support. And because Forte operates on Pacific Time, you often cannot reach anyone until 10?a.m. Eastern. In my opinion, this EHR cannot support a truly paperless workflow. The SOAP notes in Forte EMR don't sync with Chiro8000 patient and billing software, so there is no seamless way for the doctor to complete notes, post charges and have them sent to the front desk for checkout. It also fails to autopost EOBs properly, meaning they have to be entered by hand. Overall there is too much typing for notes and not enough clickable options to document properly, making exams and re?exams take more time than they should.

“offer inconsistent support
Pros
Because it is tailored specifically for chiropractic care, we have been able to use it across every part of our practice.
Cons
Tech support is hit or miss. Like if you get a knowledgeable person it's helpful but most of the time you have to schedule a support window in advance.
