What bothers me is being restricted when it comes to creating reports.

In my opinion, it's not made to be used on iPads or tablets that run on Android.

“Good EMR

Pros

Having pre-filled dropdown menus is really handy. Plus I find the interface easy to navigate and the layout well organized. It is also easy for me to see patient appointments and to tell where they've been routed within the clinic.

Cons

The keyboard navigation is awkward because you have to click each entry with the mouse, though this does reduce errors from techs. Plus comparing exams or images is not the best as I want to view them side by side, but cannot.

Pros

I really like that this program is highly customizable and it is pretty easy to pick up and simple enough that I can teach others quickly.

Cons

One issue is that I cannot update pharmacy lists myself. Updates are only applied at the end of each day and the whole process takes a very long time.

Pros

The instant messages feature and the setup page for testing is something I like the most about this tool.

Cons

I really dislike that the system logs me out after only three minutes. Well I'm not positive whether our administrator set that timeout intentionally but I find the frequent automatic logout very frustrating and inconvenient.

Pros

Some of the things I like are that the platform is simple to use and it is easy to locate what I need. The interface is also very user-friendly and easy to operate but I do notice that it is missing many tools so we end up relying on a second piece of software.

Cons

It takes too many clicks to reach the screens I want which slows me down and I still have to use another program for several tasks that aren't included.
