Pros

Running on the cloud with web access, SaaS and an Android mobile app, Hippocrate EMR has been an excellent free option for improving patient management. It's a very complete, functional and effective EHR that includes a patient database, electronic medical records, appointment scheduling and a self-service portal. The system is also customizable and very user friendly, with a user friendly interface that makes daily use simple. Another big advantage is how well it supports communication between specialists across different pathologies.

Cons

Since I started using this software I really haven't run into any operational issues. It has been very reliable and I am genuinely impressed that a completely free program can still deliver this level of performance, completeness and effectiveness.
