“It's the best software I've used in my medical career!
Pros
The functionality is really simple and user friendly, which makes it a breeze to use in multi user setups. It's quick to get the hang of and once you are familiar with it, everything just flows seamlessly, I genuinely enjoy using it!!!
Cons
No issues at all. I really like this software!

“So grateful for the excellent customer support
Pros
It was so easy for me to upload documents and quickly locate them when needed. Contacting support is also super easy.
Cons
Oscar seems to be more geared towards GP offices. It would be great if there were an option for midwives in the practitioner choices.

“Reliable EMR for both GPs and specialists
Pros
The best features for me include the appointment screen, tickler system, file scanning and splitting, adding patient relationships, faxing directly from the chart, notes on appointments (so there's a record of cancellations or changes), eForms and the eForm builder. I also love the Dragon voice dictation integration.
Cons
A few things on my wish list: It should be more obvious when a consultation is sent from the chart. It would be helpful if we could copy and paste appointments. It would also be nice if canceled appointments stayed on the screen but took up less space or if there was a way to track all canceled appointments, as deleted ones disappear from the chart and we need to keep track of them. Also the schedule settings admin is clunky and it would be great if we could set it for longer than one year.

“It saves a significant amount of time
Pros
I really value the helpful tips and reminders the program gives me. The ease of use is exceptional.
Cons
It's not necessarily a problem but I would personally appreciate it if the Physician lookup listing was more up-to-date.

“Very impressive software
Pros
It's very user-friendly and more comprehensive than many others. It has everything we need for client information all in one place, which is incredibly useful.
Cons
We can't edit the software from our workplace, but otherwise, I haven't found any major issues with it.

“Easy EMR tool with great customer service
Pros
Juno EMR is an incredibly intuitive system and their customer service is top-notch. On top of that the affordability is a major bonus. Keep up the fantastic work, Juno!
Cons
It feels a bit outdated and our doctors are often surprised when they first use it, but it still does the job.

“Dependable system
Pros
It's so convenient to access from my home computer and it's easy to navigate. It keeps me updated on client conditions, with all the necessary medical and personal details stored in one place.
Cons
As an RPN, I can only view data and cannot input anything. I'm also unable to communicate with the NP or physicians through the program about a client's current conditions or other matters.

“Excellent support with quick responses every time
Pros
I appreciate the website's cleanliness and ease of logging in. It's great to be able to access the program from offsite and to have the option to type as much or as little into the patient record. While I find the sections for patient summaries useful, the small field makes it difficult to read. The direct fax to computer option was a bit difficult to install but it's a nice feature to have. The upgrade process went smoothly with only one glitch that was fixed promptly within a few hours. The upgraded sections are nicely laid out and look clean.
Cons
The amount of colors used is overwhelming.... it would be better if a calmer version were used. The allergy module is hard to use because it is complicated and restrictive. The prescription module is also challenging to use because it contains long lists of drugs that can be messy and time consuming to validate against what the patient is actually taking. To make things easier for a few patients I began printing their prescriptions on a Word document which helps with quick reference and reprints during follow up visits. I have a particular order in which I write drugs and I check for interactions and allergies in the other meds section. Regarding referrals the labels on lab results should be visible in the attach lab section. It difficult and time consuming to identify which lab results to include. Managing different reports like abnormal breast imaging results is inconvenient. I need a fast and simple way to retrieve all the necessary reports for review.

“Overall great, though some forms (like Antenatal Record) could be better
Pros
It's so amazing that I can access it from anywhere, even on my iPhone, which really makes it a convenient solution.
Cons
Some of the forms don't function properly, for example, the Antenatal Record doesn't let you enter details under the urine screen and it fails to print the OGTT result when faxing the antenatal record to the hospital.

“Intuitive EMR software with customizable features
Pros
Love being able to customize and design my own forms and import others. The software is very cost effective, doesn't have any bugs and never freezes. It's customer support has been excellent and their add-ons, like the billing program, really enhance the efficiency of our practice. Unlike many other programs, it allows more user modifications and Oscar is one of the least restrictive options available.
Cons
There are some limitations in features. We use it in our addiction clinic which works fine but if I were a GP, it would lack some of the features I currently have with other software.

“Confined experience, but the tutorial was helpful
Pros
I appreciate how easy it is to use, the range of functions it offers, the variety of forms available and the flexibility it gives in creating patient chart forms.
Cons
It should easily let us create a simulated doctor's office environment for the classroom, with multiple clinics of four doctors each, so we can divide the class accordingly.

“Amazing product with responsive customer service
Pros
It's a feature rich product that fits well with the flow of a family medicine practice. The integration with other external products is seamless and remote access is a fantastic feature. The customer service team is exceptional.
Cons
The lack of integration with OntarioMD products, like the Hospital report manager, is a bit of an issue. While it's more of an OntarioMD problem, it's something we'd really like to have.

“An exceptional company to collaborate with
Pros
Since it's open source, we can customize Oscar however we need. The added features that complement Oscar are great and their customer support is top-notch. We switched to Juno after using a different Oscar support company and we've never looked back.
Cons
I was not a fan of Oscar's billing system so ClinicAid, which is Juno's add on billing software, has been a real lifesaver.

“Good EMR but feels a bit outdates compared to other EMRs
Pros
The ease of use, scheduling features and color coding are great. The ability to implement custom medical assessments is another fantastic feature that I like.
Cons
Navigating the admin settings is difficult and feels outdated. You can't add allergies to a patient's e-chart unless you're the physician, which doesn't make sense.
