latest update made workflow harder

Pros

One feature I truly value is how it automatically fills in benefits for me. I also love that I can send estimates to patients quickly and on time. There are so many useful features built in and I find it very easy to move around and get my work done.

Cons

We really don't like the latest update because it prevents us from changing the total estimate which makes correcting amounts due a real hassle. Since this change went live, about five of the ten letters I usually send won't go through anymore. At this point we're unable to edit anything at all and it's made our workflow much more frustrating.

easy with use

Pros

At first, the switch over wasn't easy for me or my team. But after I got familiar with the layout and tools, everything started to feel much more natural to navigate and now I'm really impressed with how simple it feels.

Cons

One thing that bothers me is that not all payors are available yet, I sometimes struggle to figure out which payor to select when it's not listed as a main payor.

No Multiplan option..

Pros

Being able to email an estimate directly to a patient is something I really appreciate. It saves me time and feels convenient. I would love a way to confirm whether the patient actually opened the email, though.

Cons

What bothers me is the absence of a Multiplan contract option and now we can't edit the letter anymore, I've also noticed it sometimes fails to apply discounts correctly.

Fast, accurate, easy to use tool

Pros

the tool runs quickly, feels easy to operate and gives me accurate results.

Cons

One limitation I ran into is that I can't edit the letter afterwards, for example, I couldn't add another phone number, include a dollar sign, or change the estimated amount format.

Misses some copays and insurance plans

Pros

What I like most is how easy it is for me to move around the site and complete tasks without confusion. The whole setup feels clear and manageable.

Cons

I've found the biggest shortcoming is that the tool doesn't consistently locate copay amounts for outpatient surgeries, so I end up having to either call the insurer directly or visit the insurer's website to confirm. Another frustration is that not every insurance plan we work with has been added into the system which complicates things.

Great transparency on services

Pros

I've noticed it provides a clear explanation of the service being delivered which helps me feel confident about the information shared.

Cons

What frustrates me most is that the app doesn't calculate and show the total amount for each facility and for the professional fee, so I'm left having to compute those numbers on my own. I'm repeatedly finding it inconsistent when multiple codes are used, it doesn't reliably apply the second and third discounts which forces me to double-check everything and wastes time.

Support is friendly and responsive

Pros

My support experience has been excellent. When I had a question about a CPT code that wasn't generating a charge, the team responded quickly. I found the staff friendly and they resolved my issue efficiently every time.

Cons

I rely on this tool every day at work, it's a genuinely useful service. Because the system is so user-friendly it makes my tasks simpler and I'm confident the estimate information I send to patients is accurate and precise, consistently so.

System struggles with ASC vs Clinic charges

Pros

I really appreciate that appointments are logged automatically, because it makes them easy for me to find later and ensures all the important details are included.

Cons

One thing I've noticed is the system doesn't distinguish charges between the Clinic and the Ambulatory Surgical Center, so I spend extra time separating those fees, it also fails to apply the second-procedure discount consistently.

Pros

this app really lays out exactly what costs I'm responsible for with healthcare, so I can go into appointments better prepared for the medical bills coming up.

Cons

great tool but people often ignore the messages they're sent and with so many scams and security concerns out there, I don't always trust the notices that arrive by email or text.

I'm finding the interface very convenient and whenever I reach out the support team gets back to me quickly.

Cons

In my experience, the information shown isn't always accurate. I've noticed it struggles with calculations, when I did the math manually I consistently found more precise results. The system can be unreliable at times and I'd like it to pull more up-to-date benefit data.

Quick estimates save time

Pros

This tool really does all the heavy lifting for me, I only need to enter whatever information I have and it quickly produces a reliable estimate. It's incredibly convenient and a huge time-saver in my fast-paced field where I simply don't have time to calculate everything myself.

Cons

I'd love to see more insurance providers with pricing available for Maryland, I wish there were a broader selection of insurers and their rates listed for MD.

Coverage check across payers is useful

Pros

One feature I truly appreciate is being able to check coverage across most payers. When I'm unsure which insurer a patient has, this tool gives me a helpful indication of who their coverage might be through, although I do wish it could identify plans more precisely, BCBS policies in particular can be tricky. We rely on it mainly for calculating benefits and it performs very well in that role. For surgical estimates we use it to generate cost estimates, draft a patient letter, send that letter directly to patients and confirm within the application that they actually opened and viewed the correspondence. For those workflows, this program is excellent.

Cons

Personally, I don't have any strong dislikes about this tool. It's occasionally not the most convenient or user-friendly system but once I've learned the workflow, it runs really smoothly and becomes very reliable.

waiting to roll it out across our whole organization

Pros

The charting and graph tools have been extremely helpful for me. I can drill all the way down to individual CPT codes and break the data out by payer or location. My team and I depend on those visuals to figure out exactly where we need to focus our time and resources.

Cons

Because our organization is very large with multiple locations and divisions, we haven't yet been able to make full use of the product across the board. We're patiently waiting for the build to be further refined so we can roll it out and leverage it more completely.

Automated estimates save time

Pros

Over the years, we've searched for better ways to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction. When we introduced the automated estimates feature, I quickly saw how much time it saved us. I like how flexible the settings are, since they help me tighten up workflows and improve our patient accounts receivable.

Cons

However, I was disappointed that the advertised work-queue feature fell short of our hopes, it wasn't particularly convenient or flexible enough for the various departments to adapt it to their specific tasks and workflows.
