Pros

It is easy to use. Whenever I need IT support, they respond very quickly and try their best to fix the issue.

Cons

I think there's room for improvement in the assessment process, there are some repeating questions that could be removed.

Innovative software application that allows their users to preform their jobs effectively.

Pros

I regard the Billing application as straightforward and easy to manage. Also, email notifications for creating NOEs are an excellent component to assist my agency with such an important task.

Cons

Honestly, I can't think of anything negative to say. Just keep going the way you are, and good things will happen.

Hospice specific software is a big plus

Pros

The IDG documentation is very user-friendly and comprehensive. Our ACHC surveyor was very pleased that all the necessary components are not only present but also easily viewed.

Cons

One downside is the inability to easily switch between multiple notes or orders simultaneously. It's time-consuming to have to exit to the patient's e-chart, then select the physician's orders or notes before opening the next one.

It was a fairly good program to use

Pros

I observed it to be applicable to hospice practice and it had appropriate sections for each specialty. The questions elicited information that was informative.

Cons

I found it a bit challenging to navigate at first, and some of the relevant screens were difficult to locate.

Very easy to learn, easy to use, well coordinated program designed specifically for hospice.

Pros

Medbillit is designed specifically for hospice use, not adapted from something else. This makes it extremely user-friendly, and the on-screen flow is exactly what I need as a hospice worker. As I enter my initial assessment, I can place items into the Care Plan while going through each topic. The interface prompts appropriately for each discipline. Also, customer support has been great. Whenever I ask them to tweak a few items, they are extremely responsive and make changes within a day or two.

Cons

While some of the "check box" items don't always fit, I still have to go through them all. For example, answering questions about household chores when the patient has advanced dementia and lives in a facility seems unnecessary. It would be helpful to skip such boxes instead of typing out explanations in the "other" box. Apart from minor inconveniences like this, I can't find much to dislike about the software. I'm not sure why all notes require administrator approval, but that might be specific to our facility, not the program.

MedBillit in my personal opinion is better than Healthcare First

Pros

I perceived all the information as quick and easy to access. I did not have to go to different screens to find different information.

Cons

I've never had any issues with MedBillit. It's very convenient and easy to learn and use. It's quick and simple.

Convenient and fast charting!

Pros

I appreciate the convenience the software provides. Compared to our old software, this one is much savvier for my company.

Cons

Overall, the software is great. However, when using a touchscreen, I need to be careful where I place my finger, or the page won't scroll down.

Easy to find things.

Pros

I discovered it to be easier to learn and find the things I needed for my patient information, family information, and downloading documents.

Cons

So far, everything looks good after a month of use. We might have some suggestions in the future to make fieldwork easier with documentation changes. Hopefully, we can do that down the line. Thank you.

Pros

There's no need for extensive training and retraining of staff members also I appreciate their ease of use. Support is always involved in adjusting the system to meet my needs.

Cons

At the moment, it's meeting our needs nicely. If I had to mention one thing causing issues, it would be the HIS segment. I believe the assessment questions should mirror the HIS questions for accuracy.

Easy to use EMR software

Pros

They are always there for me when I call. Also, when I make a suggestion, they update the software free of charge. After looking at many other software programs, I am very happy to have come across Medbillit.

Cons

I can't think of anything negative to say. They have been helpful from the very beginning.
