Helping physicians to watch for this Unscrupulous company

Pros

Medinformatix final review: We relied on this EHR for over a decade until we switched to NextGen EHR and Practice Management around 2020. Medinformatix failed to keep up with current technologies and lacked telehealth capabilities. Over the years, their EHR and Practice Management became increasingly inefficient compared to other options. The company is notorious for overcharging for simple customizations and prioritizes profit over client satisfaction. Their owners are greedy, and their charges for minor adjustments are exorbitant. Conversely, NextGen and Officeally offer customizations at no extra cost to retain clients long-term. The executives I met were unscrupulous, comparable to ambulance chasers. You are better off with Officeally, Nextgen, or any other comparable EHR.

Cons

high cost of customization and exurban charges

Tracking Meaning Full Care While Sitting on the Board of Directors

Pros

Medinformatix RIS alleviated the anxiety of maintaining Board Certified qualifications. It offers seamless software with templates for Stage 1 and Stage 2 Meaningful Care qualifications, making office tasks like billing, scheduling, lab results, and referrals manageable. Providers find the administrative modules easy to navigate, and patient information is securely stored and accessible. Patients appreciate the electronic document option.

Cons

System portals have been reported to run slow. Clients have had to call to schedule because the portal was down. Internally, the portal has had to be set on a scheduled restart timeline to avoid this.

MedInformatix RIS

Pros

The functionality is excellent. The implementation went smoothly, and they are open to customizing it to meet our needs.

Cons

They only have one annual user group meeting. I would prefer to have more regional meetings.
