This has been a nightmare.

Pros

As an administrator, I have the ability to configure certain aspects such as notes and forms. However, clinical staff are restricted to viewing only the necessary billing codes to prevent errors in code selection.

Cons

The system's development and customization are lacking, or at least not prioritized. Having a DBA on staff is necessary to maintain the database, and Mindlinc's support does not cover this aspect adequately. The company appears to lack sufficient resources to meet customer needs. Despite numerous meetings with management, we're still facing the same software issues since implementation. It has not been intuitive to use, with frequent error messages and daily system freezes.

Dangerously poor EMR

Pros

This EMR stands out for its focus on behavioral health, a rarity among similar platforms.

Cons

Navigation is not chart-based, so switching from patient notes to demographics requires backing out to the main menu and entering a different screen. It's impossible to view the schedule alongside a patient chart. What concerns me most is that with each software update, new issues arise elsewhere in the system. For instance, after one update, medications vanished from patient lists without being discontinued, causing refill denials. Another update caused the prescription generator to default to "30," leading to numerous incorrect e-prescriptions and confused pharmacy calls. After four years of use, many problems remain unresolved. I've developed numerous workarounds to make the software as efficient as possible, but some issues are just absurd. For instance, I have to manually adjust print orientation for C-II prescriptions, wasting around 30 minutes daily.

Misery

Pros

My experience with this product has been marred by extensive setup time and alot of issues across various modules including diagnosis, billing, practice management, scheduling, and platform stability. Our team has faced challenges and some members have even departed due to the deficiencies and lack of ease of use of this solution.

Cons

I keep encountering error messages, and my system freezes daily.

Stay away from Mindlinc

Pros

From the outset of our usage, Mindlinc has fallen short of expectations. It lacks stability and falls short in terms of user friendliness.

Cons

It lacks customization options and is not suitable for mobile use. Overall, it's a subpar product.
