misleading sales and buggy upgrades

It does include a few features that general dentistry software usually doesn't offer.

Cons

From the beginning a lot of what the salesperson told me at the meeting turned out to be untrue. Basic tasks take two to three times more clicks than they should. The EHR also isn't integrated with the practice management side so you have to launch it separately. When I asked about that poor setup the rep told me it was designed that way so they could sell an extra product to existing customers. Finding anything is frustrating, it's the opposite of user friendly and I often have to call the company just to remember how to run a report. We also installed the latest version recently and somehow it has even more bugs than the old one. I spent around three weeks working with the company to sort everything out and in the end they reinstalled every computer and admitted they didn't know why the software hadn't installed correctly. Even now features that worked in the previous version still don't function in the "new" one. I'm only getting started but that should give you the picture. After investing about $30,000 in this software I've decided to abandon it and move on to something else.
