Pros

Our mental health outpatient office has been using this program and it covers what we need really well. Everyone on staff has been able to use it without much trouble and working with CollaborateMD has been hassle free.

The itemized data reporting could use some updates.

Pros

The thing this software did offer was the ability to pull up medications that were not controlled substances directly within the system. Also it let me see non-controlled medications prescribed by other providers which was very useful since patients are often poor historians and do not always remember their full medication lists.

Cons

At the same time the software felt very bare-bones, looked outdated and came with very limited functionality. There was no lab integration and printing records, medication lists or vitals was unnecessarily difficult as I usually had to copy and paste everything into a Word document just to print it correctly. On top of that the program constantly stopped working sometimes right in the middle of a patient visit while I was in the room with a client. When it crashed, it would be completely down for 1 to 2 hours at a time and this happened several times a month. Reaching customer service or tech support was also incredibly frustrating and not helpful at all.
