“Accurate transcription with helpful support
Pros
I've found the medical transcription to be very accurate. What I really like is how easy it is to copy and paste the transcribed notes directly into my records. It saves me a lot of time and makes documenting patient encounters much smoother.
Cons
I did run into a bit of difficulty when trying to process the initial payment which ended up delaying the implementation. That said the customer service team was very helpful and responsive and they worked with me until everything was sorted out.

“easy to use across platforms
Pros
For me the biggest advantage is how easy it is to use across multiple platforms. Everything works smoothly and the copy-and-paste functionality makes transferring notes quick and convenient.
Cons
I can not customize the SOAP note to match my specialty's preferred format. It would be really helpful if I could add sections like history, medical history, medications, family history and similar fields. If customization like that were available, I'd definitely be willing to commit to the full subscription fee.

“Smooth functionality
Pros
i really appreciate how simple the functionality is. The Chrome extension, in particular, works great and makes the whole process feel smooth while I am working.
Cons
sometimes the SOAP notes come out with repetition or a structure that feels a bit disorganized. Because of that, I occasionally have to spend extra time editing and reorganizing the notes. I've also found that the voice dictation can be somewhat weak and often requires quite a bit of correction.

“Lets me focus on my patient while notes scribe in the background
Pros
One thing I love is that it lets me focus more on my patient during consultations because I know my notes are being scribed in the background. Once the consultation is finished, I already have well-detailed notes ready within about a minute.
Cons
there are times when it picks up the wrong words during transcription so I do have to go back and fix certain phrases to make sure the notes are accurate.

“best for saving time but needs more customization
Pros
it has honestly taken away the mental effort I used to spend trying to remember every detail of a clinical encounter. Instead of struggling to recollect and dictate everything accurately, it handles that part for me. It not only saves time but also frees up my mental space so I can focus on other important tasks.
Cons
While the SOAP format itself is helpful, I do think additional customization options would make it much more useful for my specific specialty.

Pros
the generative AI works really well in my experience. The platform is easy to use, the functionality is solid and the support team is helpful whenever needed. I also like how easily I can access it directly within the EMR.
Cons
one thing I'm hoping for in the future is that as more people start using the platform, the pricing might come down a bit.

I am someone who really dislikes tutorials, long videos or complicated installation steps. I don't do well with detailed instructions. With Tali, I simply went to the homepage, clicked the button to download the Chrome plugin and I was up and running in about 20 seconds. It's incredibly interactive and I did not need any instructions at all which is amazing for someone like me who is not very tech-savvy.
Cons
At first, I thought the process of cutting and pasting from the plugin into the encounter note might become annoying especially since it can take anywhere from about 30 seconds to four minutes for the note to generate. However since I run three different iterations on separate workstations that all share history, I can paste the note from any workstation with a single click which has made it easier to manage.

“transforms conversations into notes
Pros
Love how it can transform my conversations with patients into proper medical notes with very minimal corrections needed. I can generate a consult note from the historical conversation or even create a SOAP note easily. Because of this, I am able to stay focused on my patient and the conversation rather than worrying about documentation.
Cons
I am still figuring out the best way to correct dictation errors quickly. Since I've only recently finished my trial period, there may be features or shortcuts that I still need to learn.

Pros
This tool literally saves me hours of charting every single day. It's very easy to use and the notes it generates are concise and well-structured which makes my workflow so much more efficient.
Cons
One small downside I've noticed is the battery usage and occasionally I have to explain to patients what the tool is doing during the consultation.

“flexible tool but requires microphone for full functionality

incredibly easy to use and the fact that its available as both a desktop and mobile app makes it really flexible during my workday. I usually record patient encounters on my phone and then add the generated notes to the patient EMR from my desktop. Honestly I still can't believe how simple and efficient this process is.
Cons
some functionality becomes unavailable if Tali does not detect a microphone on the computer. my desktop does not have a microphone so I can't reuse the transcription to generate referrals or patient notes. To access those features, I have to open my laptop and use the EMR from there instead.

“Ingenious tool with no real downsides
Pros
I honestly find this tool very ingenious and extremely smooth to use. It felt so simple right from the start that I would describe it as the best thing since sliced bread.
Cons

“great scribe feature
Pros
scribe feature is a huge help for me. Instead of trying to capture every word my patient says while typing notes, I can actually focus on having a proper conversation with them.
Cons
for me, theres really nothing major to dislike about Tali because it's very easy to use. The only improvement I'd love to see in the future is deeper EMR integration. For example, it would be great if the system could automatically generate things like consult requests, lab orders or X-ray requests whenever they are mentioned during the consultation.

“Impressive voice accuracy
Pros
i have been really impressed with the voice-to-speech accuracy. It does a great job recognizing what is being said while also filtering out background noise and unnecessary conversation.
Cons
one area that definitely needs improvement is the SOAP note formatting. I've run into multiple formatting issues that make the notes look a bit messy and require some editing afterward.

Pros
what I appreciate most is that I can focus fully on my patient without worrying about charting at the same time. It makes the whole consultation feel more natural and less stressful.
Cons
there is some downtime and the frustrating part is that I sometimes realize it only after finishing a patient encounter and noticing that nothing was actually charted.

In my experience Tali's natural language processing has solved one of the biggest administrative burdens physicians face which is accurately documenting patient. Because of this, I can give my full attention to my patient and use the extra time for other clinical responsibilities.
Cons
I've also noticed that during longer patient encounters it does not always capture all the important details with the same level of accuracy that it does during shorter visits.

“game changing workflow
Pros
it is a game changer for my workflow. not only does it save me a significant amount of time but it also helps me become a better physician. I can maintain eye contact and have a natural conversation with my patient instead of constantly looking back and forth between the patient and my computer.
Cons
I do wish there were more pre-built templates available. While I can create my own template if needed, it would be much easier if the platform already offered a larger library of ready-made templates that I could simply start using.

I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the installation process was. on top of that, the support team has been exceptional whenever I needed help.
Cons

“good voice recognition
Pros
appreciate the SOAP feature along with the strong voice recognition accuracy. Together they make documenting patient visits much easier and more reliable.
Cons
pricing is probably my biggest concern. the monthly subscription fee is quite high compared to the practical benefits I currently get from the software. If another competitor offers something similar at a better price, I might consider switching.
