reliable updates

Pros

After many years and plenty of version updates one thing I've really appreciated is the consistency and dependability. It's refreshing not to have to rip everything out and start over whenever a major release comes along. We've been able to keep working without disruption and simply carry on as usual. Any time I've had questions or concerns the customer support has been excellent and that really stands out. They make me feel like a valued customer.

Cons

Haven't noticed any negative points about the software.

useful planners

Pros

It does what I need it to do. Being able to integrate the Wiley planners is a nice plus and printing is pretty simple without much trouble.

Cons

One downside is that I use a Mac and this software only works with Windows. I run it through Parallels but that drains my battery pretty quickly. Since it is not web based using it across more than one computer can be inconvenient because you have to stay very careful about working from the most up to date database.

well-organized reports and updates

Pros

Everything in the program feels well organized and easy to figure out and whenever I need help the support team really knows what they're doing. Pulling reports together is very simple and I appreciate how flexible it is when bringing in data from different areas of the program. The regular updates are also a big plus. My agreement with them has continued to be honored which I value. The software is detailed and thorough and it has even helped me learn terminology that is recognized and respected by other professionals in the medical field.

Cons

I still haven't been able to figure out how to use the signature feature for signing documents. Also when I paste information into the Progress Notes section it disappears after I close the program and open it again. Being able to reliably cut and paste notes, along with diagrams would make a big difference.

patient records stay organized

Pros

Switching between patients is very simple and it also does a good job of keeping past patients on file so I can quickly pull them up again when they come back.

Cons

Moving documents in and out could be better. I'd also really appreciate spellcheck for report writing along with a feature that lets me save abbreviations.

clear workflow and useful customization

Pros

The layout follows a clear linear flow which makes it very simple to work through. We've also customized the system to include an ASAM assessment and that's something we rely on every day.

Cons

I'd like to see a Recovery Mentor treatment planner added. I'd even be happy to help support that process.
