“professional notes”
Pros
I really appreciate about how polished and professional the final documents look once everything is completed. The homework assignments are also a really helpful feature and add a lot of value.
Cons
The biggest frustration has been the lack of response from the technical support team even after sending emails and making phone calls. They also don't seem to be available online. Everything is stored on a thumb drive or directly on your computer and since I still keep a lot of hard copy charts I'd much rather have the whole system available online.

“excellent support”
Pros
During off peak hours I got help troubleshooting an issue and I really want to acknowledge the support team for going above and beyond with outstanding customer service. I'm very satisfied with this service overall but the aid I received from them is truly what makes it feel like a product that can really support and improve my business needs. Thanks again and again.
Cons
It could use more features especially when it comes to adding additional note options.

“helps simplify a busy practice”
Pros
I'm still adjusting to the system and it sometimes feels a little strange not handwriting my notes but with a packed schedule and a full practice it really does make things simpler overall.
Cons
Since it doesn't work well with my Apple products it hasn't always been the most efficient software option for my office.

“responsive support”
Pros
Right from training the support team was just as accessible and quick to respond as the sales side. We needed help getting familiar with the program and also asked for some customization and everything was handled quickly. I even realized just before our first training session that I had forgotten to add one of our clinicians as a user. I sent the software team an email explaining the situation and they had that clinician set up and using the system within the first hour of training. The program has been working well for us and the level of service has been excellent.
Cons
The default font size is a bit too small and after a full day of using it it can start to feel tiring on the eyes.

“detailed reports that deliver”
Pros
One of the best parts of this software is the report section. Creating and printing reports from specific areas of the system is very convenient and I really appreciate how detailed the whole platform is. There's a lot to like about it overall.
Cons
I feel as though the only thing missing is a billing feature along with the ability to process card payments directly through the system.

“Quick for treatment plans”
Pros
Getting started with the software was fairly easy. After I got my user credentials set up it only took a few minutes to learn how to move through the sections and complete an assessment and treatment plan. When I already have the client background information prepared I can usually finish the assessment and plan in under an hour. I also appreciate how customizable it is. I'm able to add data fields and modify the library of choices to better fit the needs of my client population. For instance I work with some gender non-conforming clients and I was able to add relevant categories to the library along with objectives and linked interventions for treatment planning.
Cons
Would like an option for the software to automatically insert a signature line for the client on the treatment plan. It's possible that feature already exists but I haven't been able to locate it. I also purchased two additional treatment planners and the cost of those extras can add up.

“helpful treatment planning tools”
Pros
This application does a good job of streamlining treatment workflows and provides solid options for building treatment plans.
Cons
After buying multiple licenses the onboarding process was still very challenging for other users. Even with help from support they had a hard time getting enrolled and started with the application.

“wiley planners make documentation stronger”
Pros
Having access to Wiley's planners is easily the strongest part of this software. The content is incredibly valuable and it makes my documentation feel more credible and much higher quality.
Cons
A major downside is that it has to be downloaded directly onto a laptop or desktop with no online access at all. That means you can only document on the specific device where it's installed. I also tried setting it up on two laptops and the whole process turned into a mess (way too difficult and confusing). Between the lack of a web based system and the high cost of the program we decided not to move forward with this software.

“flexible clinical workflow”
Pros
It follows a very organized workflow from intake through discharge. They also provide user friendly intake forms for documenting personal history and those forms line up exactly with the biopsychosocial sections in the program. Their newest update made the clinical pathway feature more flexible and much more practical to work with. Since I serve a population that often shares a similar treatment plan that function really cuts down the time spent on entering information for each individual. Later last year I ran into some software conflicts between the program and my computer. When I contacted technical support they responded quickly and stayed persistent until everything was working again. During the troubleshooting process it was also clear they were thinking ahead about ways to prevent similar software conflicts in the future which I appreciated.
Cons
One area that still needs improvement is accessibility. As a visually impaired user I have been in ongoing conversations with their programmers about making the software work better with screen readers like JAWS and ZoomText. Right now working with the program still takes a lot of extra effort on my part though I remain hopeful that future updates will address it.

“missing clickable options”
Pros
Paying once up front instead of dealing with a monthly subscription is a nice advantage.
Cons
It's missing clickable options for symptoms and note entry which makes documentation less convenient.

“fast treatment plans”
Pros
Getting started with this software is very easy and it feels really user friendly. I can put together a treatment plan in just minutes and finish a progress note very quickly as well. One of the best parts is having pre-built treatment plans for specific diagnoses so with one click I can create a plan for a new client and usually only need to make a few small edits if any at all.
Cons
I've run into some difficulty when trying to use the software across two computers and get them to work together properly. The upfront cost can also feel a bit high but the amount of time it saves makes it worth paying for.

“reliable clinical documentation tools”
Pros
After more than 10 years of using this software I can say it's a very complete program and still simple to work with. The assessment and treatment plan features make it possible to create solid goals and objectives that are easy to monitor. The assessment, mental status and treatment plan sections are also very helpful when outside vendors need a report.
Cons
Been happy with the software and haven't run into any problems so far.

“all in one clinical documentation”
Pros
It covers everything I need in one place including goals, interventions, objectives, progress to date and more. It saves me a lot of time and when I need to put together clinical reports the information is already there which makes the process much more convenient.
Cons
Biggest downside is the cost. It can get expensive since the modules have to be purchased separately. They're worthwhile if your budget allows for it and they're set up a lot like the book version.

“Strong features”
Pros
Comes with a lot of strong features and is very effective when detailed documentation is important. It includes built-in treatment plan options and the system was fairly simple to work with.
Cons
The version I used didn't connect to the cloud and clients weren't able to complete paperwork digitally. On top of that it offered more features than I actually needed.

“powerful treatment planning modules”
Pros
The Treatment Planner modules are the part I value most because they include everything needed to build high-quality treatment plans quickly. Each module also comes with more than 1,000 prewritten, clinically validated treatment options and those can be adjusted without much trouble to fit a client's specific needs or the situation being treated.
Cons
Even though the therapeutic goals and intervention plans are evidence-based every case still has its own particular nuances which is a drawback. The guidelines shouldn't be treated as something fully standardized across all approaches so it's still necessary to evaluate each case outside the software and decide what works best individually.

“easy design”
Pros
Getting it up and running was pretty simple. The vendor stayed very accessible throughout the setup and helped with the configuration which made the whole process feel uncomplicated. It was also clear they really understand the mental health field. The interface is very easy and the built in help feature is excellent.
Cons
If I had to point out a downside, it would be that there aren't built in billing features. Billing is handled instead through a simple integration with Therapist's Helper.

“tedious setup”
Pros
There's a lot of valuable content in it and I really appreciate the check marks along with the ability to convert the completed assessment into a Word document.
Cons
For a small practice there are too many tabs with information that just isn't necessary. The software setup also feels a bit tedious.
