“Quick value ERP

Pros

The term that I would use to describe it is "Accessible". It has been designed with the end user at the forefront and effectively supports my workflows. I find it easy to learn and it was not specifically created for IT or accounting professionals. It was made for individuals like myself who utilize the tools on a daily basis. The implementation process was quite simple. Although I felt apprehensive about making the switch, the team alleviated those concerns. This has been the most smooth software implementation experience I have ever had.

Cons

It took some time for me to get scheduled on the implementation calendar. The representatives mentioned that they were experiencing high demand. Initially, I believed it was merely a sales tactic, however, it turned out to be accurate. In the end, the wait was completely worthwhile.

“Perfectly suited for specific manufacturing needs

Pros

AcctVantage ERP is ideally suited for small to medium-sized companies, it offers numerous features and options to select from, yet it does not become completely overwhelming or filled with features that may never be utilized. The AcctVantage team is sufficiently large to provide adequate personnel resources to cater to customer needs, while remaining small enough that I often interact with the same individuals who become well-acquainted with my business and processes.

Cons

I do not have any huge complaints. At least none that would not apply to any software one might utilize. Technology can experience breakdowns, and solutions can often be more complex and take longer than expected. Also, not every component of the system aligns perfectly with my business or process requirements.

“Stay ahead with AcctVantage

Pros

I find it difficult to choose just one feature that stands out. It is a tie between the "Update Existing Records" functionality in the Import Wizard, which enables me to make minor adjustments to multiple records simultaneously, a feature that SAP cannot match despite being five times the cost and the options available in the Action Menu within the product field.

Cons

We faced one minor issue. As a transactional retail organization, there are times when our software needs to recognize negative quantities. Although AV is not built to function that way, with some slight customization and adjustments to our process, Support team was able to make it work for us.

Pros

AcctVantage feels extremely easy and their support manuals are outstanding! As a finance professional, I find it very beneficial to be able to have live conversations with AcctV and their support team has knowledge of accounting principles and workflows.

Cons

I have not faced any issues with AcctVantage ERP so far.

“Exceptional efficiency

Pros

This software allows me to import orders from our website, generate production tickets and labels, and include shipping costs. Once an order is packaged, I enter the credit card payment and subsequently print an invoice or packing list. They easily integrate with Easypost for online shipping estimates, authorize.net for credit card payments, and Avatax for sales tax transactions. The AV team is exceptionally supportive in tailoring their software through scripting, which I find really beneficial.

Cons

We need to optimize their purchase ordering and inventory system. This task is currently on our agenda for the upcoming New Year.

“Acctvantage after using for 20 years

Pros

I have been using this system since 2001 and it continues to perform as smoothly as it did on the first day of installation. It does not slow down and operates flawlessly even after managing over 20 years of data and sales. It is very easy to learn and use, I have trained individuals in under a week to become proficient with the systems.

Cons

Very few issues have arisen. The software has managed everything we have thrown at it over the past decades. We transitioned from entirely Windows systems to all Mac systems without encountering a single problem during that time.

“Out-of-the-box features

Pros

There are a lot of built-in features that come "out of the box". However, like many small businesses, I required some customized assistance. AcctVantage has been very accommodating in helping me with my list of requests.

Cons

There is truly nothing major to report. While there were aspects we required, it stemmed from our unique internal practices compared to others. AcctVantage has consistently assisted us through those developments.

I appreciate the similarity of pages across different applications and the ease with which I can go through various pages.

Cons

I have observed how one modification can influence numerous areas that must also be updated to ensure accuracy.
