all client notes in one place

Pros

Getting started with it didn't take much effort, even when I was basically thrown right into using it. I also really appreciate that notes from every partner show up inside the client record so everything stays together in one place.

Cons

The biggest frustration for me is the search feature when I'm trying to find a client. I have to search by either their name, email, or company name and it doesn't feel unified. There's also no way to build a dashboard that only shows my specific clients. If that existed, this would easily be the best CRM I use.

simple setup and great training

Pros

Right from the beginning, the BOS program has been easy and simple to work with which is what we appreciate most. The training we got when we first started using the system was excellent and that made the transition much easier. On a day-to-day basis, it has been very user-friendly and updating it when we need to add product line items has also been uncomplicated. At times, there are a few extra steps involved to reach an end result that really could be handled in a single step. Even with that, I would still recommend this program to any small business managing inventory and distributing products on a limited scale. It does not require a large upfront investment and it gives you flexibility for changes and upgrades that may be harder to manage if you purchase software outright.

Cons

inventory control and cash flow boost

Pros

After moving away from Quick Books, we needed a system that could actually handle our large inventory and let us process sales orders, shipments and invoices as separate steps. We reviewed a lot of products and while several checked the right boxes, most became too expensive once implementation costs were added. Finding this software was a big win for our small but growing business because it fit our budget and still included everything we were looking for. Overall it has delivered all the functionality we needed and even more. The customer service has been outstanding too, far beyond what we likely would have received from a larger, more expensive provider. Our dedicated account representative works so closely with us that he really feels like part of our team. On top of that, the way invoicing is handled has helped us speed up receivables significantly. We've gone from having most customers paying 30 days or more past due to having the majority pay on time, with very little follow-up needed from us. That improvement in cash flow has been huge and has allowed us to invest more in hiring sales staff and expanding our marketing.

Cons

A bit more automation in some areas would make the product even better. I'm also still waiting for the bank account syncing feature to be released, since that would make expense logging much easier.

helpful guidance and personal support

Pros

Right from the beginning, the software guidance we got was extremely useful. They presented several providers and possible solutions that fit our new business venture which gave us a great basis for comparing pricing and services before making a decision. From the very first phone call through setup and installation, we've received personal attention and support. They've also been willing to adjust the software to better match our specific needs and we're excited to keep growing our business with them as a partner.

Cons

Since the software is still fairly new, it's continuing to be developed and refined. That led to a few delays during implementation but nothing serious enough to stop me from recommending the company. Overall they've been genuinely wonderful people to work with.
